I look out to sea,
A large tail flopping around,
A fabled creature.
Half human, half fish,
Mythical creature swimming,
Unaware of me.
I grab my camera,
Snapping photos as I go,
Evidence of it.
Suddenly, it turns,
Its striking eyes land on me,
Before swimming away.
So mermaids exist,
People say I am crazy,
Mermaids are not real.
Hallucinating,
Say photoshopped pictures,
Mermaids can't exist.
A/N So, I did a bit of haikus (I hope I spelled that right.) and I did it of the humans perspective, which I think was clear, maybe not.
Anyway, what do you mermaid fans think?
Oh, and let me know if I should change the cover, it doesn't really show a mermaid on it so...yeah.
