Opposite Temperatures (Uranus X Earth / Uraearth Fanfiction) (Solarballs)

Chapter 2

Earth's POV:

     'It hurts, Hurts, HURTS!... so much! Why must my Earthlings bomb each other ever so frequently?!'

     I scrunched up my face as black tears started to spill from my eyes slowly. I was in way too much pain to notice the ice giant next to me talking with my moon/Luna.

"Luna! It hurts a lot right now and I need you!"

     I seemed to just writhe in pain as Luna rushed over to me.

"Take it easy Earth. And don't worry. I'm here for you and always will be."

     My tears only streamed down my face faster and harder. Luna wasn't helping much with his words and the pain kept coming. The pain was only growing and it wouldn't stop and-

     Suddenly I felt a jacket lay over my hoodie which was stained black from my tears. I looked up and to my amazement and saw Uranus wearing a black sweater. They sat down next to me. I sniffled as they gently wiped my tears away.

"Hey mate. Heard you were in some pain from your Luna fellow. Care to talk about it?"
Uranus asked in a soft, soothing voice.

     I gave a small nod to them with tears still in my eyes. "Yeah, i-it's just that..." I gave the whole rundown to them about how my Earthlings were causing me so much pain. As I continued talking, Uranus nodded in acknowledgment and listened carefully. Finally I finished talking and Uranus spoke after a few moments had passed.

"That's pretty rough and I'm sorry that you have to go through that. I can stay with you for a bit if you want. I'm sure Sun won't mind too much about me being out of my orbit."

"Thanks... I appreciate that..."

     Uranus sat beside me as they pulled the jacket more on top of me until the fuzzy hood was almost covering my eyes. I cuddled beside them, nuzzling my head into their shoulder. It was surprisingly warm for a planet who's crust was ice. My muscles began to become less tense as I started to fall asleep. Uranus held me close with their other arm. With that, I let myself fall right asleep on the warm ice giant.

     End of Chapter 2 and damn I loved writing this. 🩷🩷🩷😊. Anyways, it shouldn't take me long to write 3 so yeah. Bye. Word count: 401
