Opposite Temperatures (Uranus X Earth / Uraearth Fanfiction) (Solarballs)

Chapter 5

Jupiter POV:

     I don't know what it is but something is up with Uranus. They keep passing the asteroid belt to get to Earth's orbit. That meant that they had to pass me and Saturn's orbit as well. 'Not to mention Mar's as well once they leave the asteroid belt.' I was starting to get worried for Earth and what that could mean.

     'What if Uranus is teaching him bad things or harassing/bullying him. Should I go over to check if he's okay or should I stay in my orbit? This could be something that I need to be aware of but not acting on and oh...'

     I didn't know what to do and was worrying until I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Saturn behind me and they had a worried expression on their face. I quickly tried to cover up my worry but failed.

"What's wrong Jupiter? Why do you looked so distressed?"

"I'm worried about Earth and how Uranus is seeing him so often now. I just want to make sure he's safe and that nothing will happen to him but..."

"But your getting way too worried about him hanging out with Uranus. Tell me Jupiter, how long have we known Uranus?"

"For a good 4.5 billion years?"

"Yes and they've never done anything to make us doubt our trust in them. Let them have fun with Earth. I'm sure Earth will be fine with them."

     I looked at Saturn with a small smile forming. He was right that I was probably worrying too much about this. Shaking the bad thoughts away, I gave Saturn a kiss before proceeding to talk with him.

Uranus's POV:

     Making my way towards Earth's orbit, I couldn't wait to see them this time. Today was the day I was going to confess to him about how I felt. We'd been hanging out for weeks now playing cards, talking, and painting pictures. His paintings were definitely something and abstract though. Passing the Asteroid Belt, I continued to make my way for his orbit.

(Time skip. -_-)

     After a good 10-15 minutes I started to see Earth in view of my sight. He was talking with Luna and they both seemed to be enjoying themselves. As I got closer, they both spotted me and Earth waved. That prompted me to go a little faster until we were finally face to face. Luna seemed to nudge him and Earth seemed to nod at him.

"Hey Earth and Luna. How are you two?"

"Good."

"Great. Me and Luna have been doing alright. I just have something to get off my chest though."

     I looked at him and wondered what he had to say. It wouldn't hurt to hear him out before confessing my love to him. Fear of rejection of not wanting to hang out was creeping in my mind though. Pushing it away I flooded my mind with reassurance and confidence. 

"Well what is it mate? I'm all for listening."

"We've been hanging out a lot now and I have appreciated it. You've started to be here for me recently to hang out or when I was in times of desperation. So I just wanted to say that I love you and wanted ask if you'd be my partner."

     As Earth finished talking, my face was flushed with a dark cyan blush as I put my hands over my mouth. This had been what I was going to say and he seemed to know what I wanted. 'Oh gosh. Oh gosh. Oh GOSH! Okay. Deep breaths, take deep breaths and play it cool.'

     Looking at him, I could see that he seemed a bit nervous and embarrassed about this but was also passionate. Luna was watching and waiting for a response like he was. After a few long moments I finally answered.

"I was actually going to ask you the same thing mate. So yes. I would happily be your partner."

     His eyes seemed to light up and he hugged my very tight as I embraced the hug. Luna was very excited as he jumped up and down and seemed to congratulate us.

"You two look so cute together. I'm so happy for you two."

"Thanks Luna. I'm also very happy about this."

     We spent the rest of the time painting and I left a very happy planet. Everyone seemed confused as to why I was in a great mood except for Sun,Venus and Mercury as I went back to my orbit.

(Another time skip)

     Back in my orbit, I told Neptune the great news about how me and Earth were in a relationship now. He gave me a huge hug and I was happy.

"I'm happy for you cousin! So when are more planets coming?~"

     'Wait a minute... more planets? That would mean...' I suddenly pulled away from the hug and looked at him.

"We're not going to collide to make any more planets Neptune!  Got it?"

"Okay."

"Neptune I swear. One of these days I'm going to f**king punch you..."

"Wait wha-"
