"You guys..." Kayla says with the biggest smile
I just had a look of disgust until Damien looked at me then I just forced a smile

"Okay love birds I gotta check the girls bandages" our nurse (Regina) says while dragging them out by their ears

Aiden was mouthing "Call me" to kayla and Damien was just biting his lip while looking at me
He really needs to stop doing that
Our nurse closes the door and says "okay Emily you're first today"
"Okay.." I say nervously
She lifts my leg to unwrap my bandages
~Ow!~
I just squeeze my eyes tight and clench my jaw
Then she changes it and gently places my leg down
I sigh in relief
Then she moves on to Kayla
As the nurse peels off her bandage she clenches her teeth and covers her face with her arms
Regina finally changes it and Kayla takes her arms off her face
"You girls will be out of here in no time, you're starting to heal" she assures us
Then as she leaves the room me and Kayla just weakly smile at each other
