Day 10: The List

Staying here in a hospital is pretty boring when you need assistance just to get up
Since Kayla fell asleep again and no one is texting me I open the folded paper, it was a list. There was about 50 reasons but so I don't go on and on the 4 most important reasons were:
1. You know me more than anyone
2. You're cool
3. You're hair
4. Everything
And right on the bottom was the picture we took together with the same caption he used on Instagram
And underneath that was p.s. I never forgot
I didn't even notice I was smiling
Once I realized I stop myself and there again when I look to my left there's Kayla with her big smile
"Whatcha reading?" She says smirking
I then fold the paper into a paper airplane and throw it towards Kayla and she catches it!
I wasn't expecting it to work but it surprisingly did
I give her a bit to read it and I knew when she was finished when she said "Aww" then I hear my intercom buzz
I press the talk button and my nurse says "Your friends Aiden and Damien are on their way up" once I take my finger off the button I look at Kayla with wide eyes
"Hide the note!" I try not to yell
Kayla shoves the note under mattress
Then a couple minutes later Aiden and Damien walk in with teddy bears and a bouquet of flowers
Aiden had a Bear with a pink ribbon tied around it and a bouquet of pink poppies and Damien had a Dog with a heart shaped necklace that said "Kisses" on it and a bouquet of white daisies (My favorite)
Me and kayla just looked at each other with shocked faces as they walked in
