[C6] Berserk Island

While on the ride to Heather’s home, you fell asleep holding onto her, Heather didn't notice till you guys arrived on the island, “Y/n, we’re here” she said, looking over at you, “Y/n?“, “Sister! Your back!” the excited loud voice startled you awake, “Oh? And who is this? Your secret boyfriend you're dating?” he asked, lifting a brow. The two of you got off of Windsheer and looked at the red head, “No we aren't dating” Heather said, rolling her eyes, “Yeah, just friends” you confirmed, “Whatever that it” you muttered.

“Dagger, this is Y/n, Y/n, this my brother Dagger” Heather introduced, pushing you over to Dagger, the man smiled crazily, taking your hand and pulled you in a death gripping hug, you struggled for a long moment before Heather told Dagger to free you before you died. You looked over to where Windsheer went while the two siblings talked, “Follow me so we can continue talking” she said, which you did, you followed her into the weird building where another dragon was, a new dragon, asleep.

Black and yellow stripes, big claws, and three tails that looks pointy on the ends of each, “Don't mind him by the way, he may look scary but he's actually a big softy like Dagger” WIndsheer told you, “He looks interesting” you muttered. You continued following her to the other end of the building, probably to not disturb the sleeping dragon. Once you two got settled down, you immediately started asking questions.

“What is this building called? What's dating? Why does Dagger look so deranged?” Windsheer rolled her eyes, “One question at a time”, “Oh okay- what's this building called?”, “It's called a stable where dragons sleep, and since it's at the top of this mountain it's the only place on the island we can really go” another question for later-, “What's dating?”, “I think from what I know it means that two people love each other more than friends” she explained.

This of course made you more confused on the concept of dating, maybe Heather can explain what it means later later, “Why does Dagger look so insane? He smiled at me earlier and it was creepy-” you asked, shivering at the memory, “That is just how he is, he's a little messed up in the head but he's good” you nodded. Taking a mental note that it's just a thing about Dagger that's normal in a way.

You hummed trying to think of what else to ask, looking over at the sleeping dragon, “What's his name?” Windsheer looked over at him then back to you, “Sleuther, he's-”, “Y/n! I convinced my brother to let you stay in our place till you get a home of your own built” Heather called out as she walked over. “Oh thank you Heather, are you sure its okay you let me stay here?” you asked, she nodded, “Yeah of course, i mean, we’re practically friends now and i can't let you just be roaming the archipelago all by yourself and not have a home to go to”

“Archipelago?”, “Oh right you don't know many things- uh it's like a group of islands all around” she explained shortly, “Alright then” you smiled, Heather took your hand and led you out, “Is Windsheer staying in here?” you asked, “Yeah, the dragons have to stay at the top of this mountain because of a dragon in the island” In the island?- “Wait, what about me? Would it affect me?” you asked, “We can test it out?”

You rolled your eyes as the two of you started your way down the mountain, and at some point, a weird feeling came to you, “So i was thinking maybe you could live closer by the forest so when your a druman, human and dragon, you can wander freely, and i can make sure no one goes nearby without a warning” Heather said, still dragging you. I can walk myself, “Sure, sounds good” you answered, halfly paying attention.

Your main attention was on the growing unknown feeling, is this why dragons can't go down this way? Because of this feeling? Or is it something else? “Hey uh Heather, what kind of dragon is it that's making the other dragons stay away from the main part of the island?” you asked, “I don't know the name of the kind of dragon or what it even looks like since i've never seen it myself but Hiccup has, and from what i remember him saying a few years ago, it was the biggest dragon he's seen since the Red Death”

Red Death? “A dragon that breathed ice-”, “Wait what!?” she paused her steps and looked at you, “Yeah- have you seen a dragon that could do that?” she asked, chuckling a little since she was just joking about that question, “Yeah actually, my brother can do it, and so can i” you explained. Heather looked at you with a wide eyed shocked expression, “You can breath ice?”, “Yeah, fire too when i want to but i have to be in my usual state since it physically hurts to use my dragon part powers as a human”

Heather looked at you twice as shocked and jaw dropped, “I know you could probably fly with your wings and you had a tail- maybe some dragon eyes- but actual-”, “Fire and ice breath?” she nodded, you smiled a little, “I dont do it much at all really, since im part human im weak compared to my actual dragon counterpart..” you said sadly, “Hold on, your no where near weak, you can litterly fly and you have dragon breath! I think that sick, and it means you have more power then a human like me”

You smiled a bit more, “Yeah, i guess your right” you mumbled. You saw a berry bush a few steps away, a grin appearing on your face, “Hey, have you tried ice cream before?” you asked her, “Ice cream?”, “Yeah! Oh you gotta try it, i made it up” you said, walking over to the bush, looking over at her. She walked over to you with a smile, ice cream always brightens up someones mood! You thought.
