25. Their friends hate you

"I thought you were getting ready" Rasmus leaned at the door frame.

"I am ready, I am just curling my hair a little" you smiled as you looked at yourself in the mirror as you could see Rasmus behind you watching you.

"Ready" you smiled as you got up and readjusted your hair as you headed out.

You and Rasmus were meeting all his friends for one of their birthdays, usually you were really up for meeting people.

But not when you knew they weren't a fan of you.

You made it to the restaurant, you were feeling a bit tense knowing that you were hanging round with people who didn't like your presence.

"Hello" you waved as the both of you walked into the restaurant.

You sat down at the empty seats as Rasmus took his seat beside you.

"Couldn't you have come on your own Ras" One of Rasmus's friends spoke to you.

"Oh" you muttered under your breath.

"No why, you all bought your girlfriends here so why can't I" Rasmus shrugged as he squeezed your leg, trying to comfort you.

"Sorry" he mumbled as he turned to face you.

You shrugged, ignoring him not really wanting to say much as you knew people were going to nit pick whenever you did speak.

The rest of the night you were feeling as if you were on egg shells whenever you spoke, Rasmus was starting to feel awkward himself and knew how you must have been feeling.

The rest of the night were just you make some small talk and eating.

"I am so sorry" Rasmus whispered as he grabbed your hand as tightly as he could.

"It is okay, I don't get why they hate me. I wanted a good night but it didn't turn out like that" you sighed as you made your way to the car.

"I won't make you come with me next time" Rasmus laughed.

"Good" you laughed.
