The Flashback Chapter 2

                                                                 The Flashback 

Chapter 2    

        It's the first day of Junior year as Cody walks into the school gymnasium following his fellow

students, as he enters he is quickly pointed out by coach Cooper who has already called 2 other

students over to him an orange haired girl and nerdy looking kid with glasses. As Cody gets closer to

the teacher he hears

Mr. Cooper says "What is wrong with this picture?"

Confused Cody replies " I don't know?" as he shrugs his shoulders

Mr. Copper asks the same to the other two

The girl responds "Ummmmm" 

Until the boy replies " We are not wearing are uniforms"

Mr. Cooper's voice rises as he says "BINGO, you know what this means right"

All three reply "No?"

Mr. Cooper "All of you get to sit on the bleachers until class is over"

             The three head towards the bleachers spreading out across it, the nerd sits furthest away as

he begins rummaging through his backpack pulling out a book. Cody begins to look around as he

chooses to sit on the edge of the bleachers he sees that the nerd has pulled out a book and looks

to be doing homework. Cody thinks what kind of weird person does homework on the first day of

school he looks away as the class begins to do their daily stretches, bored by this he lays on the

bleachers and tries to sleep. He begins to nod off till something catches his eye forcing him to

wake up looking over he sees the orange haired girl reading a book he is strangely attracted to the

book as he begins to slide down the bleachers until he's direct behind the girl. As Cody looks over

her should he sees on the page a picture of a freaky looking creature.

Cody begins to read the words under the picture but as he starts

The girl says "Its a demon"

Cody replies "O, you noticed me, why are you reading that?"

Girl "Cause I like to read"

Cody "No why are you reading a book on demons?"

Girl "Cause I find it interesting"

Cody "Ok I guess that makes since" 

Girl "Yea I bet you think I am weird right?"

Cody "Not really not really freaks me out anymore"

Girl "Well my name is Trinity"

Cody "My name is cody"

Trinity "Pretty plain name"

Cody "I guess, never really thought about it"

Trinity " So why were you looking over my shoulder?"

Cody " Well I just noticed the picture on the page and I guess I got curious" 

Trinity points at the page " This creature here?"

Cody "Yes"

Trinity "This creature right here is called a Deber, they enter the dream of their victims"

Cody "And do what"

Trinity "Well it depends on who you ask some say they represent death while others say they bring

death"

Cody "You mean if you see this in your dream you die?" "They are real?"

Trinity "Yes either in you sleep or soon after,yes there is evidence from people who have seen them

since the beginning of time"

Cody "How can their be evidence from people who have seen them if you die after seeing them?"

Trinity " Pictures and letters have been found from people who had dreamed of this creature giving detail and descriptions of a creature just like this, then soon they would mysteriously die the same day " 

Cody " Why hasn't anyone been told about these creatures?"

Trinity "Cause most people don't believe these things are real"

Cody "Yea this does seem hard to believe is there any major proof of this?"

Trinity "One major example of this was during the 1980, the SIDS epidemic some believe the debers activity increased during those years to be an attempt to cause the apocalypse"

Cody "They kill babies too thats really fucked up"

Trinity "They are demons they dont care who they kill everyone to them is fair game"

Cody thinks to reply but before he can 

Mr. Cooper yells "Spread out on the bleachers"

Cody moves back to his spot as he thinks about what Trinity said, he begins drifting off to sleep.
