The Beginning

                                                  The Beginning

Chapter 1    

   It was an average day as Cody awaken and began his day getting ready for school,then walking down stairs to find that he is the only one awake. Feeling hungry he walks into the kitchen to scavenge for something to eat. He looks through the fridge to find theres only enough milk for one bowl of cereal he looks at the timer on the kitchen stove seeing the time is seven twenty-eight. Cody thinks the bus should be here in two minutes that enough time to eat. He hurries and devours the bowl of cereal, placing the bowl in the sink he looks to see that the clock says 7:31.

"O shit." Cody says running out of the kitchen heading for the front door when he realizes that he forgot his keys and phone on his bed. Cody rushes up the stairs heading straight for his room going through the door he sees his phone, he forgot to put on the charger he grabs it and puts it in his pocket and then starts looking for his keys. He looks under the sheets and pillows and is unable to find them till he looks down and sees them on the floor he grabs them. With his keys in hand he begins running down the stairs and out the door just to hear the sound of his mom say

"You better not miss the bus or you're walking to school."

   Still running Cody opens the door and locks it from the inside as he slams the door and runs around the corner to see the last kid get on the bus. He runs for the bus but before he can get to it the bus begins to drive away, Cody continues running after the bus but the driver will not stop the bus. Getting tired Cody stops running and thinks well whatever I didn't feel like going to school today anyway. He starts heading back home until he thinks about what his mom said and sighs at the fact of walking to school.

   Cody has walked about half the way to school when he looks at his phone to see the time is 9:24. As he is unable to not notice next to the time his battery is only 23%. He decides to turns off his phone to conserve the battery. Cody begins to walk faster as he thinks there only one more class before he has to leave anyway. After about 30 more minutes of walking Cody finally gets to school as he enters the building and begins going to class a security guard sees him quickly escorts him to the office were after talking for a few minutes with the principle results in Cody getting suspended from school for excessive tardies. As Cody leaves the principles office angry at his self for even going to school today, he hears the sound of the lunch bell as his lunch period begins resulting in Cody missing another class.  

   Cody enters the cafeteria he heads straight for the lunch line looking out into the rest of the cafeteria to see all the groups of people eating and seeing the table he normally sits at with his two best friends as they eat their bag lunches. As the line get shorter and he gets closer to being able to order his food he looks through his pockets and realizes that he has forgotten his wallet. Cody continues looking through all of his pockets for a few more seconds to check for any amount of money at all but to no avail as he angry curses under his breath and heads to his lunch table to be greeted by his two friends Michael and Trinity.
