As I walked down the corridor, a sight I couldn't ignore caught my eye: my classmates were at it again, bullying a freshman.
The same cycle of harassment, the same sick display of power.
Their behavior was utterly deplorable, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of frustration. It was appalling that they still hadn't learned to respect others' boundaries.
I exhaled sharply, my patience wearing thin.
"Not again"
The sheer audacity of these so-called seniors to think they could get away with this... My blood simmered with rage.
"How can someone stoop so low, knowing the law is against such behavior?" I muttered, cracking my knuckles as I walked toward them.
I arrived just in time to see a terrified girl collapsed onto the floor, her belongings spilling in all directions. Before she could even gather herself, one of the bastards smirked and lifted a glass of water-ready to drench her in humiliation.
Tch. Not on my watch.
With zero hesitation, I snatched a nearby glass and launched its contents straight into his face.
He shot up, water dripping from his furious expression, and turned to me with eyes blazing.
"The hell-" he snarled, taking a few step forward.
I met his gaze, unflinching. "You should be thanking me, dumbass. If I weren't in a good mood, this glass wouldn't have just held water."
My words hung in the air, and for a moment, we locked eyes, our anger and defiance palpable.
He thinks, he would gain some sort of notoriety after that? I highly doubt it - such a fucking Bastard with a shitty thinking.
His nostrils flared as laughter and murmurs rippled through the forming crowd. Oh, so now they wanted to watch? Spineless spectators. They had been here the whole time, yet not one of them had dared to step in. Cowards, every single one of them.
When they fail to act against wrongdoing right before their eyes, it's hard to envision them making a positive impact in the future.
But I couldn't turn a blind eye to what was happening. This wasn't the first time I had witnessed such behavior; I had intervened before, yet the university authorities consistently failed to take any decisive action- 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍?
