“I think now, you should also find your special someone, Siddh!” He said with a chuckle on the other end of the phone.

I rolled my eyes, "Shut up! I'm not like you, I love my freedom." responded with a hint of disagreement.

"Trust me bro, your life will also change into heaven like mine"He said reassuring me.

"Don't share your experience with me,keep it to yourself" I said with a slight chuckle.

"I wish you'd understand me soon" said this wistfully, I replied

"keep day dreaming"

As I randomly gazed out the car window, my eyes landed on her standing a few steps away. She was wearing a blue jeans-top with a white dupatta, and carrying luggage. The way her hair fell in loose waves down her back, I couldn't help but feel drawn to her.

As our eyes met, she smiled slightly, and i felt a jolt of electricity run thought me. Wait, it was the first time, I felt something like that in my entire life. I quickly looked away, trying to shake off my unwanted thoughts. But I couldn't help sneaking another glance.

she could really give relief to anyone's eyes. With her directly looking at my side was enough to distract me from this cruel world for a while.

I felt a long-dormant spark ignite within me, like the gentle lapping of waves on a stagnant sea. The thought echoed in my mind like a whispered secret:

Hume guroor tha khud pe ki
Ishq nahi hua kisi se,
Voh nazar kya mili ek nazar se
Sara guroor chur chur kar diya kisi ne

(We were proud of ourselves,
thinking we'd never fall in love,
but one glance and our pride was shattered)

I gulped and sucked my dry lower lip.

"Hello... Hey! Are you there? Where do you get lost?" The sound of his brought me back to reality, and I quickly looked away from her, my eyes blinking rapidly as if to shake off the spell.

"Hey...I think you've found your special one, haven't you?" He teased, his words dripping with amusement.

"Be quiet and give your this attention to bhabhi; she must be waiting for you," I said, "He..!!"  Before he could go further, hanging up the phone abruptly.

I slid my phone off and grabbed my blazer from the seat next to me. As I opened the door and stepped out, my eyes locked onto her, who stood still, her gaze fixed on me like a statue.

But eventually, she began to move towards me, her legs carrying her forward with a grace that left me breathless.

"Hello, Miss Malhotra," I greeted her, my voice husky. But she didn't respond, her eyes piercing through me like a dagger. I cleared my throat but she still stared at me with her expression unreadable.

Is she okay? Why is she staring at me like that? Am I looking that weird? Questions swirled in my mind like a vortex, leaving me disoriented and confused.

I took a step closer, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, as I asked again

"Miss Malhotra, are you okay?"

Her brown orbs seemed to hold a soft, captivating gaze, accentuated by the subtle outline of kajal. I cleared my throat, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Excuse me! Hey!!!"

she remained silent, her gaze still seeming to bore into my very soul.

I spoke a little louder, my voice laced with concern, "A...are you okay, Miss Malhotra?" This time, she flinched, a slight movement that betrayed her otherwise serene demeanor.
