Hope you guys enjoy this, also it will always be in Louis's point of view unless stated otherwise.

"Whoa guys, check this out," Niall said looking down at his phone. Liam and I both looked up from our own to see what he was talking about.

I squinted my eyes just to see it was a stupid article about the "Top 10 most haunted places on Earth" with bold font on the side listing off that a new place had been added that was near here called, Cheshires Maniacal Asylum. I rolled my eyes and looked back down. All of that stuff is just bull, there is no such thing as a ghost, spirit, demon, whatever you want to refer to it as, call me a skeptic, better yet, call me realistic.

"We should defiantly go and check it out, it says that nearly all of the people admitted to this place were severely harmed or killed," Niall said, very interested in the lies that laid upon him.

Liam had hummed in agreement, long forgetting about his phone and looking at what Niall was reading.

"The workers were convinced the patients were killing themselves, they had tried multiple ways to make them stop but nothing helped. When the wounds became more and more severe, rumors had risen about the place, and was at risk of shutting down. People had been reported with long, deep cuts down their fronts and were all battered up. The workers had finally realized that what they were dealing with wasn't something to be messed with, they believed it was the work of the de-"

I couldn't contain it anymore and burst out laughing. Both Niall and Liam stared at me as if I had another head.

"What?" Liam asked. I laughed,

"Don't tell me you actually believe in those, they're honestly fake and a waste of time. Scammers are just making it up to get people like you, consumed into their articles, and making them popular by you spreading it around. Sort of like how you are now," I concluded.

"Well they're doing it right," Niall muttered to himself.

Liam was about to speak up again to probably tell me it's real using some weird background knowledge he has stored to prove it.

"If you really think this article is fake how about going there and see for yourself," Niall had said smirking.

"Oh and at night," he emphasized.

I thought about it for a moment, before shrugging my shoulders.

"How about we bet on it?" Liam cut in.

"Okay," I shrugged. That will work. "As long as you both come along with me."

Niall's eyes had widened slightly in surprise, but none the less agreed.

"Alright how about if Niall and I are right, you give us each a hundred. And if you're right you'll get a hundred from us both?" Liam questioned.

"Okay yeah deal," I said while shaking their hands, much like you'd see in a Pawn Stars tv show.

"So once we go, we'll walk around, talk to whatever you think is there and leave when realizing that there's nothing, and once we get back home I'm expecting money from both of you," I said, this will be easy cash.

"Yeah right Lou, keep thinking that way. In the end you'll be the one loosing two hundred," Niall said Liam agreeing with him.

I heard their faint hushed whispers, and immediately assumed they were muttering words about me under their breathes.

I lifted my head up and squinted at Niall, "What?"

Niall looked up back at me "I didn't saying nothing." He gave me an obvious look that proved he in fact did say something.

They really need to work on whispering better.

The Next day (Friday)

Niall, Liam and I agreed that we would go there on Saturday to get it over with, which is tomorrow night. The trip won't take too long, I'm hoping, but it was in a deeper part of the forest, which i find very typical for scenarios like this. What old creepy place isn't located in a place like that? Anyways, what the boys didn't know was I'd be bringing a ouija board. Now I've heard the talk people have about these, and even though I'm quite the non-believer, going out to get this still gave me an uneasy feeling, but it was kind of cold now that I think of it, so that's probably why.

I had searched up on Craigslist for the board, and out of the tons of creepy ads from people who seemed to meet the requirements to be in an asylum themselves, I found one ad that seemed the closest to normal.

The man I had acquired the board from wanted to meet in an alley, which was why I can be found standing in one, waiting for my "dealer," I chuckled. I saw a figure approach and once close enough, he roughly shoved it into my arms and retreated towards the dark, not uttering a single word or waiting for my to pay.

As I stared at the box that board was in, I had finally shoved it into my backpack after breaking from my trance.

"I can't wait till you come and play, darling."

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked back at the direction the man left in, but saw nothing.

As I got home, it seemed like both Niall and Liam were gone, due to the lack of their presence, but I could've sworn I had heard something.

"Hello?" I nervously said, the uneasy feeling from the board still not leaving me. I began walking through the house looking for Niall or Liam, just in case one stayed, but found no one. All of a sudden, I heard one of our doors slam shut. I walked toward the sound realizing it came from our once open basement door. I rolled my eyes. That Irish fool is definitely home.

"Niall, Stop fooling around before you scare yourself," I said, knowing if I had done this to someone, I'd end up scaring myself the most.

I went into the living room and finally decided on watching tv to distract myself from the faint uncomfortable feeling.
                                            -
I awoke to Liam shaking me,

"Wh-what?" I rasped out, my voice showing signs of sleepiness. I must've fallen asleep.

"Go to your room Lou, it's nearly two in the morning," Liam mumbled sleepily.

I just stood and stretched while nodding. I sluggishly walked up the stairs and into my room, and changed into my pajamas. I got out the backpack that I would be bring tomorrow once again and double checked that all the items I would bring with, were in there, those items being the board along with glow sticks and some food. I went back to my bed and got under my duvet, I turned on my side and switched off the my desk light. My room instantly becoming pitch black. I was nearly asleep until my door creaked open, probably Liam or Niall trying to mess with me.

After a few moments of dead silence I squinted my eyes open to see if either one of them had stayed in the doorway, only to barely make out what i believe was a dark figure. My room had instantly gotten colder so I snuggled more into my blankets, I tried keeping my eyes open but eventually they shut. The last thing I felt and heard was a cold hand brush my head and a faint, yet deep voice say "I've been waiting for one like you." before falling asleep.

Hey guys, so this is my new story. I was in the vibe for some good ol' paranormal Larry, so here you have it.
