(Baby) Here we go again... HAH, two song references in one. BTW, cover and title has been changed, this used to be Believe Me Darling :) hope you like it.
I woke up alone in Liam's room, which gave me an uneasy feeling as I sat up to eye the closed closet door, but the light seeping in from outside the window gave me some false reassurance, much like hiding under your blanket from a monster as a kid. Way too early for this.
I blindly walked into the kitchen, still rubbing the sleep from out of my eyes, and wordlessly sat down as Liam continued singing and cooking breakfast, too busy to notice my presence, so when he finally turned around with a plate of bacon he jumped, nearly dropping the food that held precious cargo for morning energy.
"Jesus Christ, Louis, you scared me, I almost dropped the bacon," Liam said, while nearly fumbling the food.
"At least you didn't, because that would be a crime." Niall said as he entered the kitchen, grabbing a piece and happily munching on one.
During breakfast, the two other boys chatted as if nothing terrible had occurred in the past week, they tried including me within their conversations, but I just felt out of it. Definitely not going to take a nap anytime soon though.
After our breakfast, we had all settled down in the living room and started to watch a show Niall had decided to put on, which eventually got my mind off of all the recent drama. We were all having a good time and laughing, much like the good old days until suddenly, a door had slammed shut somewhere in the house, stopping our fun.
I quickly stood up and muted the television before staring at the other two who had furrowed eyebrows. About time, they have to believe me now. Even though I was shaking with fright, I couldn't help the small mental victory dance I did. We all continued to stay in silence trying to determine if what we heard had any aftershocks, why is being in-denial always a stage with paranormal activity?
"Which door was that?" Liam asked confused, hopefully the front door, that thing needs to leave.
"I think I know which one," I said, that door had already closed once on me, it might as well close again. I walked in the direction of the basement with Niall and Liam following me, to see that our basement door in fact had been the one that closed."What the heck? I'll check the basement while you two check this floor and the upstairs," Liam said before proceeding to open the door.
"What why?" I ask, what else could be here. "For intruders Louis, duh." Liam said as he took the first few steps.
"What the heck, do you guys not remember my paranormal jokes? Don't go down there, Liam, please," I begged, "Plus, haven't you ever seen a horror movie? Which guy do you think dies first?" I added on, hoping it'd be persuasive enough. Liam has to be a complete fool if he thinks this was not paranormal. "Yeah Liam, I agree with Louis on this one, don't do it, we can just, I don't know, throw a cross down there and lock up the door instead," Niall said frantically. Hm, I don't think it works that way, but okay Nialler.
Liam stared at us with the look that basically said it all, before ignoring our pleas and walking all the way down the steps. All we can do now is pray, may he rest in peace. "It's not time to be rational, Liam!" I called out, hoping he'd change his mind.
"I'm sorry I didn't believe you before, Louis," Niall apologized, "Now isn't the time for apologies Niall," I told you so. "We have to get rid of whatever this is. You know more about this stuff than I do, what can we do? Can't we, like, I don't know, contact someone?" I asked nervously.
