"stable... For now. " the doctor says
"can I go see her? " I ask
"yes" the doctor replies
I walk in the room and grab her hand. She wakes up and looks at me.
"Hey beautiful." I say
"hi." she mumbles
"listen, I'm sorry. I made a mistake. " I say
"don't make it again. Okay? " she replies
"okay. " I say
"I love you." she says
"I love you too. " I reply
I turn her arms over and look at her wrist, then look up at her... Tears threatening to leave my eyes. She grabs me by the shirt and pulls me in.
Our lips move in sync.
"Ive missed that. " I sigh
"two days? " she questions
"yeah... I couldn't make it long without you. " I say
The doctor eventually dismisses her.

"lucas? " Riley says laying in bed.
"yeah? " I ask
"why'd you hit me? " she says
"I'm really sorry baby, I was hung over. " I sigh
"okay... " she says turning over... Away from me.
"I love you. " I say
She turns back over.
"do you really... Cause if you don't, just save me the pain and leave already. " she says
I scoot over to her and make her Sit on my lap.
"baby girl, you're my everything. " I say
"I heard what you said... You were telling me to stay." she says
"and I ment every word. " I say leaning in.
We lay down and she lays on my chest.
"how can I make this up to you? " I ask... But she's already asleep.
