3:00 pm.
The bell rang as everyone started to exit the class. This was, in fact, your first time getting a punishment severe as detention, as it wasn't expected from an all A's honor student.
You were frustrated at this, your jaw tightening as your expression went increasingly sour. It wasn't your fault you woke up late.. Right? Either way, they should've just met you off with a warning instead..
Whilst everyone was walking off the school, you walked with your head down to the detention center. You really didn't want to spend your evening sitting in detention, but you know you couldn't get out of it.

The detention room was quite empty, other than a table and some chairs, no one was there either. There was no teacher to supervise you, surprisingly. You sit down and open your notebook to work on the homework your 'friends' Mushitaro and Tachihara gave, until a familiar being takes a seat next to you. Next to you, you heard a voice with an irritated tone, muttering silently. "Great detention. I didnt even do anything!!"

What was he doing in detention?
"Oh well isn't that y/n!!" he mentioned, his tome dripping with sarcasm. "Why are you even here..? Aren't you a 'good student'..?" He exaggerated the last bit of his sentence, but deep down, he was genuinely curious as to why you were here.
"Well.. I was late thrice in a row.." you groaned while responding to him. "How about you? Why are you here?" You asked him. You thought it was very unlikely for him to end up in detention.
"I made fun of a teacher's intellect, then exposed their past dark secrets, and they sent me here.." he yawned while clarifying. Seems like he was the type to get sent here after all.
You didn't bother responding as you continued on the math homework given to you.
He couldn't help but look your way to see a math paper that we aren't currently covering in class. He asked, "Why are you doing that? We learnt that ages ago, didn't we? We were always on the same set afterall."
You could swear you saw a small smirk that was almost impossible to detect as he looked the opposite side you were in.
"My friends needed help with it, so I'm doing it for them." You quickly answered, still doing the homework.
