"Whoops!" Laura instantly held Alexis's arm, stopping her move.

"What's wrong?" she asked frowning.

"B--- Uhm, Mr. Anderson also drank coffee from there." She then pulled her arm and hustled towards the elevator.

"What?" Laura exclaimed and followed her.

"Miss Morrison, Mr. Caldwell is looking for you," an employee who was in the elevator informed Laura.

"He's in your office. He said it's urgent."

Alexis looked at her and Laura made a long pout. "Make sure he's okay," disappointment tailed her voice.

"I will," she made a small nod and soon Laura made her exit while she continued on the seventh floor.

"Mrs. Cole, is Mr. Anderson okay?" she asked immediately after she arrived.

Dorothy looked at her with a frown. "What do you mean?"

Alexis told her about the coffee, what happened to her, and what Laura just said.

A worried face changed Mrs. Cole's relaxed countenance.
"I asked him to go home after I arrived. I'm not so sure," she spoke while she pulled out her phone.

Alexis watched her dial and made a call.

"Carl, are you alright?" Mrs. Cole asked after her call was received.

"No, you're not okay," she spoke again which made Alexis more worried.
"I'm going there..."

---

"But your health is more important." ---

"Ugh. That boy's making me worried," Dorothy brought down her phone.
"Never want others to take care of him."

"Is he not okay?" Alexis asked in a concerned voice.

Mrs. Cole gave her a look.

"It's somewhat my fault why he drank coffee and I'm feeling guilty about it," she soberly looked back at her.

Dorothy sighed. "I want to check on him but he wanted me to finish an important task. I don't want to waste his efforts last night."

"I can go." The words came out of her mouth before she could think about them.

"Really?" Dorothy gave her a careful look.

She slowly nodded as her mind reasoned that there was nothing wrong with it.

"Okay, then I'll give you the address," Dorothy pulled a piece of paper and wrote something on it. "Call me if he won't let you in."

"Alright," she took the paper handed to her.

Dorothy gave a small smile at her which she replied with a nod before she turned and took her to leave. She hurriedly went into her cubicle to get her things and was paused when she saw the computer.

Her mind remembered that today was her deadline and she wondered if the Spears had called Carl. H

Having this in mind, she copied the unfinished project on her flash drive before she took her bag and went out.

Several minutes later, she stood in front of an elegant house. She checked the address again and it was correct.

She took a deep breath before nearing the gate allotted for people. She pressed the doorbell and waited for a while but nothing happened. She pressed again and then waited but still no response.

She moved and peeped in the gate of the driveway and saw Carl's car inside. She went back and was about to press the doorbell again when she noticed that the gate was not locked.
