••••"Do you need any help, Sam?" Anaya asks, entering Samaira's room as she finds her packing her stuff
"Nope, i'm almost done" She responds folding a shirt before she put it in the suitcase and glances at her side, passing a small smile
"Today is your last day here, i will miss you" Anaya says a bit emotionally and Samaira chuckles
"Don't worry, dolly, we'll be in touch. Now when we have become friends so I won't let you forget me" She says grinning
Anaya smiles as she pads towards her and begins to help her keeping her things in the suitcase but Samaira slaps her hand lightly, stopping her "Hey, i will handle it" She says soft glaring at her and Anaya pouts getting back
"Sam, can you do me a favour?" She asks after a moment, as she perches down on the edge of the bed beside her
"Hm" Samaira nods, her focus on her work
"Can you please patch things up with Reyansh?" She asks slight hesitant and Samaira's movements stops
"Sam, sooner or later you have to end this fight then why not now, I can't see you both like this" Anaya says
Samaira exhales a breath looking away from her, showing her disapproval
"Sam please, try to understand" Anaya moves forward and holds her hand "You guys are best friends and just because of me, now you aren't even talking to each other. I know you care for him and if you'll leave him like this then who'd be on his side? Please don't leave him alone. Whatever he did, it was between us, i will deal with it one day but you don't ruin your years of friendship with him just because of me, please" She tries to convince her
"It's not because of you, Anaya!" Sam says, turning her face to her "He's doing wrong that's why he's alone, that's why i'm not on his side and he deserves it!" She states firmly, looking down at her
"Yeah, i got you. But our case is different Sam. We both don't know what our future holds. Okay i'm not saying that you take his side but at least don't pretend like strangers when you both are together. Maybe he needs your solace instead of your rage" Anaya states
"He did nothing to get solace" Samaira scoffs, rolling her eyes
"Don't you think you're doing wrong? You just met me a few weeks ago but you've known him since childhood and its your right to show him the right path instead of leaving him in darkness" Anaya persists
"He's not a kid who i show the right path, he's a grown up man who chose his own destruction with opened eyes" She replies bitterly with disappointment on her face as she withdraw her hands from Anaya's grip
Anaya leaves out a breath, defeatedly
"I agree, you are right in your place but at least you can take a step for me, if you ever considered me your friend"
"Are you doubting my friendship?" Samaira triggers with her words as she stares at her agape
"You prove me then?" Anaya bites her inner cheek, suppressing her smile
"Ain't you getting too smart in my company?" She says with narrow eyes "As if I don't know what you're trying to do" She squints her eyes at her
Anaya bites her lip, getting caught and smiles sheepishly "Please na, just do it for me, please" She requests, getting up
