Scary stories: Enough to make you scream

Every night, one step closer.

Today we are moving to a new house, I'm really happy, see, every night for the past few weeks, there has been a man in my room at night, he started at the very edge of the room, quite far away, then gradually, Every night, he had taken a step closer to my bed, a few times I had screamed but he disappeared when someone came in, everyone just passed it off as hallucinations in the night or a shadow of something. I learnt not to tell anyone or they would find me crazy. It's a really good thing we are moving today, because last night as I glanced with my eyes slit, he was at the edge of my bed with his hand on my bed post.
