My cat claws at me every time it sees me. It should be grateful for what I did for it.......
FLASHBACK

The sky was grey and before I knew it, rain started to pour down on me hard. I keep walking, hands in my pockets. I'm only ten minutes away from my house. I then see a cat under a tree, obviously trying to hide from the rain. I walk over and give its beautiful black fur a pat. It looks up at me with it's gorgeous cerulean blue eyes, I check for a collar but it seems to be a stray. Hmm, I think to myself, I can't let this pour thing freeze to death. So I pick up the cat and it purrs contentedly in my arms. I walk for about another 2 minutes and I reach a supermarket.
"Stay" I say to the cat.
It seems to understand.
I race in, not before moderately drying myself and am welcomed by the warm embrace of the Walmart heater. I quickly rush over and put some cat food in my basket as well as some Maltesers, some brownies and some sushi ingredients for dinner.
I pay and then notice the cat.
"Smart kitty" I say and pick it up.
I walk for another five minutes until I reach the familiar welcome doormat. I put the key in the lock and turn the key.The cat rushes in and curls up on the couch. I smile and lock the door and then put the groceries away. I put some cat food in a bowl and give it to the cat. After it eats it jumps up on my lap.
I turn on the tv and flick through the channels.
"What should I name you?" I say to the cat.
It just looks up at me with its big blue eyes.
"Rosie" I hear from the TV, "Why must you be so beautiful?"
My eyes light up, "Rosie!, that's your name! Rosie!"
The cat almost seems to nod in approval

Did I mention That I live with my mum? Well I do. Anyway, she adores Rosie but as time passed I began to hate Rosie and want her gone. She had brought nothing but trouble to me. Stealing my food, wrecking the neighbour's plants, scratching my couch, SCRATCHING ME.
Mum just passes it off as "normal cat things" I think not, that cat is trouble.

I am finally moving away from my mum's house and away from Rosie.
As I step Into my brand new apartment I begin to unpack and sit down.
I go out for a bite to eat, forgetting my phone.
I went to a lovely little cafe, had a chicken and salad burger and chips along with a banana smoothie and I also met someone named Ethan whom coincidentally lives in the across the road from me, who has become my London tour guide and friend.
When I get back after a nice night with my new friend, I check my phone to find many missed calls and texts. Some from mum and some from my older brother.
I call mum but there is no answer, just voicemail, then I call my brother, Adam and he picks up, I can hear that he has been crying.
"Hello?" I say
"Hey sis" he choked out
"What's wrong?" I ask
"It's mum, she's...she's gone"
"Gone? Gone where?" I ask, completely oblivious.
"SHE'S DEAD" screams Adam before sobbing hysterically.
"What???" I scream.
"She had scratches all over her and the police are doing an investigation" he says
Then it dawned on me, Scratches? Cat scratches?
"That damned cat"'I mutter
"What?" Says Adam.
"I think it was that damned cat" I say,
"It's been downright horrible lately"
"Okay, well I better go, love you" says Adam.
"Love you too" I choke out
Tears flood my vision. It was that damned cat.....I'm sure of it.
