Finally, they were at the Salvatore Boarding House, it took them forever to get there. As Damon, was too drunk to use his vamp speed and no one knew what he would do if he was left alone.

"Ugh. Remind me never to let a mortal walk me home again." Damon moaned, as walked towards the driveway.

"For a drunk man, you complain, WAY too much." Elena said, as she pushed into the side of Damon, before letting out a laugh.

"Anyone would think that you two were dating." Klaus commented, under his breath. Yet loud enough that all of them could hear.

Elena just coughed and looked over at Stefan, before taking a swift glance at his, blue eyed brother, than back at him. Stefan was her choice. The only choice.

"A man can only dream." Damon laughed, breaking the awkward silence.

"Yeah, and that's where it stays. I love Stefan. It's always going to be Stefan. He's sweet and calm..." Elena smiled, as she walked over to Stefan and burrowed her head into his arm.

"...And, because he's nothing like me." Damon muttered.

"Well, at least we know history, won't be repeating itself then. Heh?" Klaus laughed, as he sped walked to the door. He was in a hurry, as he needed this information to find his one true love, Evelyn.

"Katherine. She's one bitch of kind. Who would want to be anything like her?" Damon muffled, as he spoke into the tree, thinking he was looking at the others.

"Were this way?" Elena snapped. She was in a mood, after being compared to Katherine. They were nothing alike, not in her mind at least.

"I was just joking." Damon said, as he skipped, past his car.

"I'm in a rush. So. Come on, get a move on." Klaus hurried them, as he picked up his pace.

"You open it." Damon slurred, as he routed through his pockets, to find his keys, so he could chuck them to the original hybrid.

"I've bet you've left them at the bar." Elena commented, this time annoyed and without the flirty banter she usually had when talking to Damon.

"I could kill you, Elena. In just one quick little move." He snapped, lunging at the brown haired girl.

"But you wouldn't." She replied.

"You know this because."

"Everyone, knows this." Klaus groaned, as he waited at the door, staring down at his fancy watch, which he had most likely stolen from some king of the past.

"Seeing you've had a million chances too." Stefan added, as he brought the key out of his pocket, with Elena still snuggled into his other arm.

Klaus smiled at the sight of the pair. He saw himself and Evelyn in the two, that was the true reason why he was always stelena's number one fan.

"For someone who's about to find out that their soulmate was just hiding from them. You seem pretty happy." Damon slurred.

"I could rip your heart out, within a second. Cause I'm not like you Damon my threats are real." Klaus said, as he knocked Damon to the floor.

"Play nice." Stefan commented, as he moved closer to the door, while Elena lifted her face from his arm. She then turned to face, Damon, who was doing that eye thing, like always.

"You need to stop that." Elena complained.

"Stop. What?" Damon giggled, he found it hilarious, almost as hilarious as Elena's reaction.

"That. The flirty little eye thing."

"You two argue like a married couple. It's weird." Klaus said, interrupting the two.
