Memory Lane

An angry Klaus stood outside his house, pacing up and down. It was 11:29, and when the hybrid told someone to do something, they had to do it, following his precise instructions.

Finally, he saw the girls pull into the driveway, his smile grew big, as he saw the driver. "Hello, luv!" Klaus called out, his cheeks blushing.

Caroline's reaction was the complete, opposite of his, her face dropped at the sound of the man's voice. "Hello. Klaus." She snickered, as she slammed the car door shut.

Klaus smirked, he saw a challenge in Caroline, and he liked it. "You seem displeased, to see me. How come?" He asked, in that British accent of his.

The blonde glared at the original, why did he always have to be so charming? "Am I ever pleased to see you?" She looked him up and down before turning to face the road, as her eyes searched for Damon's car.

He decided to ignore the vampire's comment and moved on to the doppelgänger. "So, Elena. Where are your body guards? I thought you liked the look of two Salvatore's on your arm." Klaus smirked, as he teased her. Elena made it easy for him to do so.

The front door opened, they all turn to see, which original had decided to join the welcoming committee. "Excuse my brother, and his awful manners. Would you like to come inside our home?" Elijah said, with a smile, as he stood with the door wide open.

His younger, but more powerful, brother shook his head. "This is my home, that I designed, and you're not going in, until all of you are here. And to what I recall, I'm missing my hybrid and those two Salvatores." Klaus told them, stepping forward, making sure they couldn't get past him.

"Well, we're here now!" Damon shouted out of the window, as they were about to turn into the driveway. "I apologise for the three minutes late, I was catching my friend Tyler up on that beautiful blonde, you and I like so much."

Klaus looked him up and down. "Shame, because I have a feeling she would pick me." He gave a sarcastic shrugged, as he wore a grin.

"Niklaus, this is not our priority." Elijah told him, firmly, reminding his brother that Evelyn was the main focus, she had been for years. "So, you guys should come on in." The noble original, moved aside, gesturing for them to walk in.

They all remained hesitant. "Please, listen to my brother. For at this moment, he's correct." Klaus gave his brother a nod, of approval.

Tyler, Damon, Stefan, Elena, Caroline and Bonnie all listened to him, as it was just better to follow his rules than to get on the hybrids bad side.

Stefan pulled the journal out of his pocket, and placed it onto the wooden table. "Here, this is the first journal page, it describes when me and Evelyn had first met." The Salvatore told the group, as he flicked through pages, and stopped on one, towards the end of the book.

Klaus gave everyone a look, before setting out his instructions for the afternoon. "We'll get to those." The hybrid said, moving it out of Stefan's reach. "For now, you will all tell me, what you know about the sixth original, Evelyn Evermore."

Caroline spoke up. "Well, I don't know as much as the others." She admitted to the group, as her face lay on Tyler's shoulder. "Me and the others know for certain, that she was a supernatural creature...of some sort." The blonde gave, Elena a look, prompting her brunette friend to take the lead.

Elena gave her a nod, letting Caroline know, she would be happy to. "Elijah, told me how your friend, Evelyn, was a lovely girl, innocent, pure, and even in death she wouldn't harm anyone." The Gilbert said, as she turned to look at Elijah. "Despite being an original, no one really knows what happened to her. The full story of what really happened, can only ever be told through her mouth." The room got tense, as she spoke.
