The Salvatore House was silent, no vampires causing mischief. Just pure peace. There wasn't much of that around the town of Mystic Falls, not anymore. Not ever since the return of the vampires. At least the house was quiet, before  Damon Salvatore awoke from his slumber.

Freezing, he groaned, as he turned on the couch, which was where he had fallen asleep, after the hectic night before. Yet, that didn't stop the vampire from going back out, for a night on the town.

However, he wasn't going to any normal club, and he certainly was not going to step foot in another bar, seeing there was hardly anything entertaining about them. Damon only had one club in mind, The Grove, which the vampire hadn't been to since, 1950.

The Grove; November 21st 1950:
Damon was up by the bar, ordering drinks for him and his lady friend.

"I'll have one margarita, for the lady." He smiled, as he pointed at a girl with beautiful golden hair. "And for me I'll have bourbon."

"One margarita and one bourbon..."

"Damon! What's taking you so long?" The girl shouted, interrupting the bar man.

"Wait a minute, Evie." He shouted back.

Evelyn was always wanting a drink or something to eat to cure the cravings. However the drink didn't help with her being angsty and paranoid over little things.

"As I was going to say, one margarita and one bourbon coming up." The man said, as he rolled his eyes.

Fury ran through the vampire's body, as he grabbed the man by the collar of his black shirt and made sure to bring the man's ear to his mouth. "Role those eyes again, and I'll drain every ounce of blood from your body."Damon whispered, as the fury turned to joy; at the sight of the man's face turning a pale green.

Evie was listening in and as she heard those words, she froze. It looked as if her world had stopped and everyone else's was still moving. Why couldn't Damon just drink from a blood bag? She had to sort it out; like she always did, but hopefully one day he wouldn't need her too anymore.

"Damon! What are you doing?!" Evelyn screamed, as she walked over to where he was stood.

"It was just a joke, darling."

The original started pacing up down, she was furious. How could someone who loved her not care about her feelings? She then stopped and looked him dead in the eye, as she complained about his vampire ways. "You know, how much I hate you feeding on humans. So why are you threatening them right under my nose? Why, Damon? Because no matter what you think they're not our toys." Her voice cracked, as she said it. Evie couldn't even keep up the eye contact as she was so close to breaking down.

Damon was grinning. How could he be so insensitive?

At the sight of that little smirk on his face, the original girl lost it. And in the heat of the moment she slapped him right across the face.

"Just drink your drink, Evie." He moaned, as he held his cheek, hoping no one would notice how red it was.

"Why are you doing this? Is it because you're going back to Mystic Falls to see your brother? And maybe you've got some hooker on the side! Or maybe you're just embarrassed by me!" She screamed. Evie was so angry and upset. It was times like those where she missed Klaus, he would never have shouted at her like that. Never!

"Are you that insecure? That narcotic. That anytime I'm going to do anything without you. You try and make out I'm ashamed of you!"

"Well aren't you!?"
