Are you okay?

Ashlyn's pov

The first period just finished which we all had together except for Logan. We decided to go to his locker to see if we could talk to him before 2nd started. We turn down the hall. "That's what you get you loser!" I hear from the end of the hall. "Shit that might be Logan!" I yell to the group, running in the direction of the slam. There at the end of the haul I could see Barron standing over a body slumped up against the lockers. That body being Logan's.

"Get away from him!" I yelled running over, Aiden close behind me. Taylor took Ben somewhere knowing his history with bullying and anger issues. I get over to Barron and punch him right in the jaw making him stumble back. I quickly look over to see if Logan is okay and see Tyler helping him up. "Ashlyn!" I hear before I feel a fist connect with my jaw. "Fuck-" I mutter feeling my mouth fill with blood. Before I can even do anything I hear a loud slam hitting the floor. I look over to see Aiden on top of Barron. "You're gonna regret that" I hear Aiden say with a chuckle behind that smile I knew a little too well.

"Aiden don't it's not-" "OWW WHAT THE FUCK" I get interrupted by. Aiden slammed Barron's face into the floor. 'Shit'. "Aiden get off of him" I tell him, pulling him off of Barron knowing that if I didn't it wouldn't end well.

"Get off of me Ashlyn, you know he deserves it!" "No, it's not worth it, I don't need you getting suspended" I reply dragging him by his arm down the hall. I pulled out my phone texting the group chat.
"Where are u guys?"
"In a empty classroom, room 116"
"Okay coming now"

I reached the classroom turning the door. The first thing I see is Logan being patched up by Ben, blood dripping down his shirt. I quickly let go of Aiden's arm and run over to him. "Are you okay? What's happened? What's hurting?" I ask urgently. "I'm okay I just have a small head injury, I didn't mean to cause you guys any trouble" he replied lowly staring at the floor. "Logan look at me, you will never be a problem or a trouble to us and we will always be here for you no matter what. You understand?" "Thank you" he responded still in a hushed tone.

"Is it bad?" I ask Ben knowing he's the one who patched Logan up. He pulls out his phone and types, "it's not good but he will be okay" " Alright thanks"

"Should I see if my dad will pick us up?" I ask knowing it's probably best we don't stay in school for the rest of the day. I get a collective response of sures and pleases.

Time skip to when Ashlyn's dad comes and gets them

"That's his car" I say pointing to the familiar green jeep. We all grabbed our backpacks and standed up getting into the jeep.

"Hey kids, you guys all okay?" Mike asks after everyone is settled into the car.

"Yeah, thank you for picking us up Mr. Banner." Tyler says. "It's no problem"

I tune everyone out and put on an extra pair of noise canceling headphones. I decide to rest my head on Aiden's shoulder for the rest of the ride.
