ILLIANA

"You're back home early, as expected.." I looked at my papa before sighing as one of our butlers closed the door behind me.

"It was fun while it lasted. Boys are so annoying." I muttered. "As long as you enjoyed some of your time there." He smiled, walking into the living room.

I followed him in to see Jason seated on the couch, watching TV, but no sign of Cordelia or stepmother.

"Did they go out shopping again?" I asked. "You know how your stepmother can be when it comes down to your sister.

"Where's Damien?" He asked. "We split ways.. told him it was best not to see each other anymore. For his sake." I said, sighing. "Good. We never liked him." Jason chimed in.

"You hate everyone." I rolled my eyes. "He was a bit strange," Papa said, chuckling. "He's fine the way he is. Anyway, I'm going to get changed.." I headed to my room, leaving the two to the movie they were watching. It was strange to see Papa home at this time. I supposed he took the time off to make sure he was able to reach me when he needed to in case of an emergency during today.

AIDEN

We pulled up to the gates of the Halsin mansion, waiting for the security to open, but they only stared at us before grabbing a phone to call someone. "Shit, what the fuck are we thinking.." I said, looking at Silas.

"I can always floor it," Silas said. "Are you trying to get us shot?" I asked.

"Names?" The security guard asked, shining a flashlight in our faces. "Uhm..Aiden Russo and Silas Tepes." I said.

He placed the phone back to his ear and spoke. "Their names are Aiden Russo and Silas Tepes. Would you like for me to send them away sir?" He asked.

Shit. I'm guessing her father is home and now he knows we're here.

"Are you positive sir?" The security asked, turning to look at us. He soon hung up and walked back to his post. With the push of a button, the gates began to open and we began to move forward again.

Silas drove up on the circular driveway and immediately got out of the jeep, making his way to the front door. I quickly followed behind him, watching as he rang the doorbell.

It didn't take long for the door to swing open to reveal Mr. Halsin.

"Where is she?" Silas started and I cringed slightly, seeing him disrespecting him right off the bat. I pulled Silas back and looked at Mr. Halsin. "Good Evening sir, sorry about my friend here, he lacks..manners." I glared at Silas who remained silent and frustrated.

Mr. Halsin seemed unphased by our presence, his eyes scanning the both of us. "Is Illiana home?" I asked and he looked at me. "No." He simply said.

"Can you let her know we need to speak with her when she gets back?" I asked.

"No." He said once again.

"And why not?" Silas asked, his frustration clear to see. "Why should I have my daughter speak with you two ignorant,  dangerous little boys." His unphased blank gaze turns into disgust towards Silas more than anything.
