I was dressed in the kitchen sitting down as sipping my coffee. Things have been quite in Fairhaven the last few weeks. There haven been some incursions but it was only lower tier creatures. I was enjoying some much needed me time. Suddenly I feel a weight pressed against meet.
"Good Morning, Honey."

"Garnet? I thought you were Madrid and wouldn't be back until Friday?" I
"We actually finished ahead of schedule. It went a lot better than I excpected." Garnet remarked
She then takes a seat on my lap.
"Besides it's been unbearable without my darling husband to comfort me." Garnet rubbed my cheek
"Sorry I wished I could have gone but I had a mission, But I'll find some way to make it up to you." I said
I lean in and kissed her gently which lasted a few seconds. My phone chips. I unlocked it and saw it was the chief.
"Looks like the office is calling me. A robbery and possible homicide. I might be home late." I said
"Be careful." Garnet warned
I quickly got dressed and picked my ride for the day.

I start her up and put the car in drive on the way to the crime scene.
Timeskip
I reached my destination which was the dock area near the bay. I stop as officers came toward me.
"Sorry, this area is off limits sir." The officer said
I flashed him my badge.
"I'm Specialist Nyte, The Chief called me to invesitgate." I told them
They let me through as I drove through the docks and eventually found the scene. I saw archer was already here. I park my car and got out as I head over towards him.
