The schedule

Background information: After Will went missing he's developed a weird schedule, so that it doesn't happen again. Will and Mike have still known each other since they were six, but started dating when they were 13, they are now 18/19 and living together. One day he's hanging out with the oarty when he lets it slip that he and Will have never been out on an actual date, leaving the party shocked

Mike loved Will. Their was no doubt of this. So his friends were shocked when they heard that they've never gone on a date.

"How?" Dustin yells shocked. Mike rolls his eyes and scoffs.

"Why are you so shocked, it's not that big of a deal!" Mike defends himself.

"You never going on a date with your boyfriend of 5 years, mhm that's normal. Totally!" Max sarcastically states.

"It's just..You love Will, and yet you've never been on a date?" Dustin tries to make sense of that like it's a crime.

"Yeah..what about it?" He sass's

"How?" Everyone chimes in

Mile rolls his eyes. "It's complicated and also El, Dustin, you have no right to talk, your girlfriends don't even live here!" Mike points out. "You've never had a date with your partners either, so why does that matter with me?"

"He has a point, why does it matter?" El speaks.

"Yeah but he lives with Will, he's fully capable of doing anything he pleases with Will, unlike you and Dustin, yet he doesn't. He's being an asshole!" Max vocalizes the obvious, stern not giving up with her mission to make Mike the bad guy. The asshole.

"That's not my fault Maxine! Will-he has a schedule, and he's busy..okay?" Mike states the reason, which isn't a lie, but it's also not the full story.

The truth is that ever since Will was kidnapped, he's coped weirdly. He's tracked, and written down, and timed, every little thing in his life. Will has a written schedule with time zones which he has to do the tasks, for instance he wakes up at 7:00 sharp, stretches, exercises, eats, and then gets ready for his day. And by 7:25 he's ready to start his day. That consists only of doing everything in the schedule. That fucking schedule. He hated. All he wanted, craved, even needed, was to go up and kiss or cuddle or hang out with Will as soon as he even caught a glimpse of him. But Will would freak out since that wasn't in his schedule and immediately go into a frenzy and restarts his day.

Mike doesn't know why this is. It could be a response from trauma or something. And he shouldn't judge or get mad, but it frustrated him that only an hour and half of Will's time would go to him, without him completely freaking out. It also sucked that this time wasn't only reserved for him, but there other friends as-well. Meaning he had to fight for Will's attention despite living with him.

This was barely enough time to even think of going on a date, and this didn't include the other problems. Will planned out his outfits and where he would go daily, and going on a date would mess this up. Mike didn't want that, he didn't want to make Will go into mental torture, but he did want a date. Just one simple date. To a restaurant, or park, maybe even a museum possibly. Will does love art. He's fascinated by it.

"So you're telling me that he's so busy you can't go out for like 30 minutes?" Lucas asks thinking Mike's full of shit.

"Yes, and we're never going out on a date, but that doesn't mean we love each other any less though alright?" Mike's response was annoyed, annoyed by their lack of empathy. Although deep down he knew that they would never know, or understand his weird habits. And he also knew, that even no matter how much he tried to understand, he also would never understand his boyfriend schedule.

Author's note/explanation: Yes Will has OCD, I don't know why I just thought it would be a cool idea for him to have OCD due to being kidnapped, and I always just thought he would be a routine person(just not with ocd). Also they do hang out and watch movies, paint, and eat together. They've just never been on an official date, but I'd be willing to make a part two where they get to go on a date, or Will gets his OCD diagnosed and is able to get it better under control.
