The Dance

Quackity's heart is going extremely fast for no reason as he leaves his dorm and Wilbur behind to go change in Karl and Sapnap's dorm. It doesn't even make sense why he is freaking out.

He doesn't really want to leave his dorm he wants to see what Wilbur is gonna wear. But he has to because Karl wants to meet up so the three can all walk together. As Quackity makes his way over to Karl's dorm he can't think of much but his heartbeat which he can tell is racing.

It's just a dance!

He curses to himself and slowly knocks on the door of Karl's dorm. Soon Karl opens it happily, it's funny how he has made himself colorful even though he's wearing mostly white. Sapnap is sitting on the couch trying to put on his tie.

"Quackity! You're here! Finally" Karl pulls him inside and he almost drops all his stuff.

"Go change" Karl exclaims, "we're gonna leave in 20 minutes!"

"What!" Quackity hurries to the bathroom to change quickly. He gets on the pants first and then his button up, he fluffs his hair before giving up and just tying it back into a messy ponytail. Necklace, earrings. He pauses to stare at himself in the mirror thinking he looks ridiculous but it doesn't matter he's going with Karl and Sapnap anyways.

"Quackity come here!" Karl exclaims gesturing him over, "I'll fix your hair" he holds out a hair straightener.

"Karl where did you get that?" Sapnap pauses from struggling with his tie to stare.

"Magic" Karl replies before making Quackity sit down so he can make his hair look better.

"Quackity you look great" He says.

"Let's gooo" Sapnap cheers as he successfully puts on the tie, "Quackity come here I'll do yours."

He brings over Quackity's tie, Quackity rolls up the sleeves on his shirt to his elbows.

Once they are all done and ready Karl surveys everyone.

"We need something magical, makeup" he says finally, "on our cheeks, like Sapnap we can put fire symbols on yours!"

He goes to grab his makeup.

"Karl we should probably get goinggg" Sapnap sighs.

Quackity stands there and watches as Karl draws little fire markings on Sapnap's cheeks then teal swirls on his own. He draws light blue marks on Quackity's.

"There! Let's go!" he throws the makeup pallette aside and hurries for the door. Quackity and Sapnap look at each other then follow.

Once near the dance area they all pause to take deep breaths. The Plaza is nice, decorated with twinkly lights and some hearts.

"Food" Sapnap points to a few tables.

"Sapnap don't get carried away" Karl grabs his arm happily. Quackity stands there a little awkwardly, he wants to see Wilbur but isn't sure he is here yet, there's quite a few here already dancing and eating.

"Karl I'm hungry" Sapnap keeps trying to convince him to go eat food.

"Ok fine come on Quackity!" Karl calls over his shoulder as Sapnap drags him to the food table.
