"ARE YOU JOKING?!!" Clearly Jacob was very happy with my decision.
"Yeah, but if you play any pranks or misbehave, I swear to god J I'll get you on a flight back and you'll be stuck at home all summer."
"No no no, I promise I'll be on my best behaviour. Oh my god I cannot believe I going to be spending the whole summer at the paddock!! Oh everyone at school is going to be so fucking jealous"
"Language" Mom said walking into the living room.
"Sorry mom, I'm gonna go call dad!!" Jacob ran back to his room.
"So you finally decided to say yes?" Mom asked.
"Yeah but I'm only doing it for Jacob" that's what I've been telling myself since the past two weeks.
"Oh come on honey, you're 22, live a little, one breakup doesn't end your life. Get out there and have fun and you never know maybe you'll find someone cute there."
"Mom I'm going there to work, I'm not gonna fool around with anyone plus I don't think I'm ready for another relationship."
"I never said anything about a relationship but you can have fun, maybe hookup with a guy or guys."
Okay yeah, I'm gonna be sick.
"Mom please, I don't wanna talk to you about my hookups."
Well there isn't really anything to talk about, I mean that's probably the reason I got cheated on, what was Ben gonna do, wait all his life for me to be "ready".
"Okay okay I won't talk about that but please do me a favour and let loose. Promise me you'll have fun and not work all the time."
"Ugh. Yes mom, I promise I'll have fun."
Maybe I will.
Maybe this F1 Fiasco could change me for the better.
