The One Where She Fell In Love

Chapter Three

Bethany's Pov

"Hi, I'm Bethany." It's my first day at the paddock and I have my briefing of the day just about what I'm gonna do and what my responsibilities are.

"Hello Bethany, I'm Michael Kelner. I'm the head of PR around here. It's really good to finally meet you."

So Michael is basically my boss.

"And this is Bella, she's my assistant and if you have any questions anytime just contact her."

"Hi Bethany, so good to meet you, I'm a huge fan."

"Oh that's so sweet, it's good to meet you too Bella."

"Yeah I mean you are literally my favourite actress, I loved you in True Love I've watched that movie like 500 times and I cry everytime."

Wow, she is a huge fan.

"Okay Bella, if you are done fangirling over Bethany, can we start the meeting."

I heard Michael say and he didn't really seem happy by the "fangirling".

"Yeah sorry, of course." Bella seemed hurt by the comment.

So I leaned in and whispered so only she could hear,
"Don't worry, I'll take you out to lunch later, if you aren't busy."

"Oh my god, of course, I would love to."

We had the meeting for about twenty minutes, and then I headed to the track to get Jacob.
I'm guessing he would've gotten every drivers autograph by now.

As I got to the track there was no sign of Jacob anywhere, so called him on his phone and he didn't pick the first time then the second time and then the third time and that's when I started freaking out.

We are in a different country and I fucking lost my brother.

Fuck, I never should've trusted him and left him alone I'm so fucking stupid.

After calling literally everyone I knew who he could've been with and searching the stands, I saw him on the scooter with the most gorgeous man I'd have ever seen in my life. But I was too mad to even acknowledge that.

"JACOB!!!" I yelled and he and the gorgeous man looked at me.

"Where the hell have you been??!!!" He muttered something to the man and came running towards me.

"I'm sorry I just went on a ride with Nick, he is so cool Bea, I had so much fun!!!"

He seemed so happy that I didn't even wanna yell at him but I knew if I didn't, he'd do it again.

"I don't care if you had fun or not, when I told you not to go anywhere and stay in the stands, then why didn't you listen to me huh do you wanna go back home because trust me buddy I'll get you on a plane right now!!!"

"I'm sorry Bea but he offered to take me on a ride and I couldn't refuse him. I mean I'd be dumb to say no to Nick Santiago."

That's when I noticed the man coming towards me and Jacob saw that as in opportunity to run away, I saw him going to Amara who I was at the coffee shop.

The stranger held out his hand towards me for a handshake.

"Hi I'm Nick, you must be Bethany."

I was so furious that I forgot about the formalities and started yelling at the stranger infront of me.

"What fuck is wrong with you??!!! You can't take a 10 year old kid on a ride without informing the guardian!!!"

Yep, I sound like a bitch but I honestly don't care, that was irresponsible of him and he needs to bear it's consequences.
