The previous night, Mina had been twisting and turning inside her sheets. Her mind couldn't stop pacing around the thought of Chaeyoung. Getting out of bed with a plan, she was ready to walk out of her final class the second she the bell rang. Mina paced down the stairs, through two buildings and then reached the cafeteria. Dodging crowds gathering, she made it to the main office hall spotting the blonde streaks heading out the big doors. Before she could reach the exit, Mina spotted her friends.

"Hi!" She greeted joining the three. The cold wind hit her like a slap to the face.

Cursing the weather under a breath, Miyeon began complaining about her previous class. But Mina's nervous heart didn't let her hear, her eyes were scanning the parking lot as they approached. She quickened her steps and created distance between her friends.

Miyeon paused her story. "Where are you going?"

"I need to catch Chaeyoung" she barely bothered to look back.

To her luck, Chaeyoung was waving to her friends as Mina approached. Their eyes met and the oldest smiled unable to contain the joy of seeing her.

"Can we talk?" Mina inquired standing in front of her car.

The girl opened her door and threw her backpack inside. She nodded closing the door as she joined Mina.

"I want to fix it" Mina stated having no other starting point. "It was stupid and I'm stupid and this is stupid. Can we stop fighting?"

Chaeyoung wanted to make it easy but knew better. "It was. It really, really sucked." The oldest listened intently her eye contact twisting Chaeyoung. "But we broke up, Mina"

"Okay so let me take you out on a date" she quickly urged taking a step closer.

She looked at their feet. "Why? I literally over reacted and broke up with you"

"Because" she reached for her cold hand catching her eyes. "I like you"

"I need more than that" she let go. "I need to know that I can trust you. Because I was serious about being with you"

"I am serious about being with you" Mina played with her own fingers.

"Mina"

She took another step. "What do you want to hear? Because I like you and I want to be with you and I'm going insane not being near you" it felt desperate. "It doesn't have to be difficult."

"But it is. And I am"

"Okay?" She pushed. "I am too. I don't care, just let me be near you. What are you doing tomorrow? Let me take you to dinner, at least?"

Chaeyoung felt a tinge of guilt at the sight of Mina clearly struggling to build her words. Seeing her rosy cheeks from the cold and feeling it herself made it hard to keep Mina waiting.

"Alright, okay" she smiled. "I guess you can take me on a date"

Mina exhaled from relief. "Yeah? Okay! I'll pick you up tomorrow at six."

She traveled to her car on the parking lot. Feeling the rush of joy, she entered taking a few deep breaths. Mina would go the gym with her friends later and then they'd go to dinner. All her satisfaction had pinned over into dread. Till then, Mina had yet to say a word about Chaeyoung. She spent nights trying to figure out why or how.

On the tread mill, Mina ran endlessly listening through one of her favorite pop albums. Then, as an attempt to
avoid both Sakura and Miyeon, she slipped into one of the studious where she did stretches and core routines. Her timer went off and she sat on her mat sipping from her iced water. Snapping a few pictures in the mirror, she posted them on her story and met up with her friends.
