I wish for your heart,
But you craved for my body.
I wanted to listen to your soulful voice,
But you choose to hear my scream.
I desired to hold your hands,
But your need rested on my lips.
I wanted to rest my head on your shoulder,
But you desired to care about my shape.
I had cared for you,
But you had a thirst for me.
Still, we were together to fulfil
the wishes of each other.
If it was love,
it lasted for forever.
We would wish to be together,
yearning for each other.
But it was just a need,
which was shaped to be broken
and brings us to an end.
If you think I'm being emotional,
but you can't ignore that
our relationship was conditional.
We were just forcing each other
Just to be together,
Avoiding the truth that
You and I never be together.
