Chapter 5

"Ugh, mornings" I mumbled

I stared at my reflection in the mirror and decided to go for a run.

As I was leaving the house Jayden popped outside.

"Hey, Jayden right?"

"Correct, so you run?"

"Yeah, I haven't really seen the area so I though I'd start with a run. You like to run?"

We headed out towards a lake and started running around the outside.

"Well I have to keep fit for sports somehow"

"How to play all those sports, like don't they clash?"

"I don't know, I guess I just manage"

"Breakfast?" Lily asked

"Yes please"

Ryan walked in and gave Lily a kiss. He turned to me.

"So you must be Maddi"

"Yes sir"

"There's no sir in this house, call me Ryan" he smiled

"Ok Ryan" I said matching his smile.

Lily plonked a ham and cheese omelette on my plate. It was delicious.

"You're an amazing cook" I said with my mouth full of omelette.

Lily laughed "thanks Maddi"

After I finished my omelette I headed up stairs. I changed into my outfit and straightened my hair.

"Once your ready to go, come downstairs and Hunter will take you to school"

"Fuck" I yelled. What the hell was that?

I looked over to where the sound was coming from and I saw a intercom.

"Wow they really are rich" I'm mumbled

I pressed the button and replied "sounds great"

I rolled my eyes. This is gonna be the worst car ride ever.

I strolled downstairs where Hunter was eating his breakfast.

"Hey Maddi, after school I could take you on a tour of the area if you like"

"Oh hi, Jacob right? I'd love to"

"Great, I'll pick you up from school"

"Gruel"

He chuckled and walked away. Lucas must've told them what that means.

"Hurry up" Hunter walked round to the front of the house.

"Ughh" I groaned

This is gonna be a long day.
