The runaway unicorn pt.6

*Ollie's ears perked up* "do you hear that..?" *Daisy got frightened and jumped into a nearby bush, Stella looked at daisy and said kindly* "daisy , I probably nothin-", *Stella was trying to keep Daisy calm when suddenly they all stopped, Rocky seemed to be the first one to notice, he heard something as well*

Rocky:"Shhh, I can hear something!"*Toby started yelling as a thick black vine grabbed into his legs, pulling him down. Stella saw this and shot magic at the vine, making it shrivel up and whither away* *Toby was pulled down and the others rushed to him in a panic before Stella's magic took care of the vine, the black vine had seemed to come out of nowhere*

Toby:"DANGIT, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"

*Toby tried to get back on his feet, the others were now panicking and they began to search around for more vines* *suddenly,they started to twist around the hooves of the 4 of them, it got out of control as Stella kept using her magic. Whilst the others were safe, Stella didn't have time to save herself, she was getting weaker due to the constant magic she was using to save her friends.* "RUN!" *she yelled before the vines coiled around her horn and face, engulfing her entire body. The other 4 ran past the bush that Daisy was behind,as they watched the vines take Stella underground, through the grass* *The group of unicorns were absolutely horrified as they witnessed the vines suddenly take Stella, she got swallowed up by the ground in no time at all. Her yells of "RUN!" was the last the rest of them heard of her, they were absolutely speechless in shock and fear.*

*The vines began to disappear from the other unicorns and they could finally get their bearings and look around, they had no idea how they were going to find their way out of the sacred garden now, without Stella's magic there was no way they could make it* *ollie sighed* "why are we so weak? If only our magic was strong enough to do the stuff SHE can do.." *Toby shrugged, the group of unicorns had no answer for Ollie's questions, they were all so weak in comparison to Stella, they couldn't stand a chance of making it out alive without her help. Toby just sighed sadly and shook his head.*

Toby:"You're right, how are we going to get out of this mess without her magic?"*Daisy gulped* "I'm so scared! What if those vines take us aswell-?!"*Ollie nodded in agreement, no one answered Daisy's question though because no one knew what to say. The truth was, if the vines were willing to take down Stella and leave her to potentially die, they definitely wouldn't have any mercy on the other unicorns either.*

Toby:"I don't know... we don't know what's going on..."*rocky looked annoyed* "I did say it was dangerous here..did you not expect it to be true? We may never see Stella again you know.."*Toby gave Rocky an angry look*

Toby:"Well I didn't expect things to get *this* bad!"

Daisy:"And what do you mean we'll never see Stella again? Don't tell me you're giving up on her...""I'm not!" *rocky exclaimed* "I'm just saying..if we go after her we will probably die too." *ollie looked at him in alarm* *Daisy was shaking a bit and she didn't want to hear this, she looked a bit desperate and emotional*

Daisy:"But we need to go after her, we can't just leave her to die!"*toby nodded* "Mmh! We are going!" *ollie looked up* "buuut...where do we go?" *rocky sighed* "if you really want to know...you should probably go that way." *he pointed his hoof towards an old grey cracked building* "some sort of temple over there.."*The three other unicorns all turned and looked in the direction Rocky was pointing at. The temple looked old and abandoned, and it wasn't very reassuring to look at, but it was their only real lead right now*

Toby:"That temple.... do you really think that's where we'll be able to find Stella?""That's your best chance. I've heard it's like a maze below that temple though..don't expect me to come-" *he gasped as he was pulled by his tail by Toby, all 4 of them ended up going down the stairs. Rocky groaned* "ugh....that hurt." *toby shrugged* "sorry"*Daisy gave Rocky a sympathetic look as he groaned from being dragged down the stairs, but she couldn't help but smile just a tiny bit at the exchange between Toby and Rocky.*

Toby:"Come on, we've come this far, we can't turn around now."*ollie nodded* "yesyesyesyeayea! Let's go!" *he quickly dashed ahead, but stopped as daisy called for him* "wait!" *she yelled* "stay together! We don't want anyone getting lost."*Toby nodded in agreement with Daisy, he didn't want the group to get separated, not now, especially in their current situation.*

Toby:"She's right, we need to stay together. There's no telling what's down here, it's better that we don't wander off on our own."*Ollie mumbled like a child* "ooookkkay..." *the four off them set of, trotting nervously through the dark stone maze* *Everyone was on edge as they trotted through the dark maze, the only sounds that could be heard were their hoof steps as they walked. They all tensed up as another sound was heard, a creaking sound came from deeper into the maze, although they didn't know what was responsible for the noise* *they kept hearing eerie noises echo throughout the temple* *The noises were starting to freak out Daisy, she looked around the maze nervously and she was getting more and more paranoid with each sound that was heard*

Daisy: *whispering* "guys, what is making those noises? I don't like this..."*ollie shuddered* "me neither daisy...me neither.." *rocky sweat a little* "I did say it was dangerous.."*Toby looked a little annoyed to hear Rocky say 'i told you so' again but he wasn't in the mood to argue about it, he just sighed and shook his head, trying to stay calm*

Toby:"Quiet, we need to stay focused. Keep your eye out for anything suspicious, we don't know what's lurking in this place..."*daisy gulped* "I think I do.."*Toby and Ollie both looked at Daisy, they were both surprised and scared when they heard her say those ominous words*

Toby:"You do?? What is it??"*she looked down* "w-well...their like - these mythical creatures called lookers..they hunt in about a herd of 5 .." *a shiver ran down her and Ollie's spine* *Both Toby and Ollie were definitely getting unnerved by the story Daisy was telling them, when she mentioned that the creatures hunt in a herd of 5, Toby couldn't help but wonder if the creaking sound from earlier was the sound of these strange creatures*

Toby:"5... there's 5 of these creatures down here?""Not necessarily.." *daisy reassured them, rocky interrupted her* "there's about 8, I can hear them. We need to hide somewhere because they are getting closer."*Ollie started to panic a little when Rocky interrupted Daisy, the idea of the creatures getting closer and being able to attack them at any second was a terrifying thought to him*

Ollie:"8 of them??? Where can we hide from them????"*Toby looked around the area, trying desperately to find somewhere the group of unicorns could hide*

Toby: "We need to find somewhere, quick! I think I see a dark corner we can try and hide in...!""They can see in the dark." *daisy whispered* *Toby and Ollie's eyes widened when Daisy mentioned this, it was bad enough that the creatures could see them at all, but if they could see in the dark then that's another whole level of messed up*

Toby:"They can see in the dark?! Are you serious???"*rocky sighed* "sadly, that's true...can anyone here use magic to help? Pleeease?"*Everyone thought about the question that Rocky had asked, neither of them were particularly magic unicorns, Daisy had a little bit of magic experience but not enough to be useful in their current situation*

Daisy: "I mean, I have a little magic experience, but I don't know if it would be enough..."*Daisy was unsure if her magic would work to help them at all but she knew she had to try*

Daisy:"Okay, I'll try my best... just give me a second..." *toby and Ollie looked at her, Ollie whispered* "we'll help!"
