CHAPTER 8: Jura Tempest Federation

Rimuru POV

I opened my eyes slowly

The first thing that I noticed was that there was an absolute beauty sleeping in my arms

Her long white hair was partly covering her face, her soft pink lips shone under the light sunlight, her expression was calm like there is nothing that can hurt her, and her chest was moving rhythmically with her breathing

I took my time just to look at that beautiful face. Honestly, I could just look at her and never get bored of it

With my hand I brushed off the hair from her face and placed it on her cheek

After seeing her like this, I wasn't able to hold back anymore, so I slowly approached her

Our lips made a contact, and another soft kiss of ours was written down in history

' Can't believe that a day when I can do something like this has come '

Not long after I parted myself from her sleepy lips, her eyes opened

For a moment she was looking at me in confusion

" Good morning Velz" I said gently

" Good morning, Ri-kun" her eyes softened while saying this

" Did I wake you up?" I asked while feeling guilty

" Mmm" she shook her head" I can't imagine being woken up in a better way" she said with a smile

" Is that so?" I gave her one of my smiles back

After that, we embraced each other. Feeling our already naked bodies under the covers of futons might have added some kind of naughtiness to our wholesome coddling, but whatever

We stayed like that for a while, just holding each other in our arms was enough to fill us both with immense happiness

" We should really get up now, you know?" Velz commented

" Ehh? I wanna cuddle some more!" I protested with a pout

But my protest was in vain

Velz stood up from the futon. I could see her bare back as she was going up, and just when I was about to see her ass, a light enveloped her body and her clothes were on

' Dammit'

She looked back at me with a smirk

" Pervert" and with just that she left the room

Soon after I changed my clothes and went to the living room where she was

" You are up now?" She asked

" I am~" I said as I went to the kitchen to start preparing the breakfast

By the way, since my house is not on the big side, or rather it's very small, my dining room, living room, and kitchen are combined

I prepared us an omelet with some meat and veggies

" Do you have any plans for today?" I asked

" I will probably just watch you do your job and after that, I have to go back to the Ice Continent"

' Eh? She is leaving '

Seemingly noticing my surprised expression, Velz explained to me her reasoning

" I have to go back or Guy will start looking for me, and if he finds me here then you will get his attention, which might lead to humans, or his enemies attacking you"

" So until you guys are ready to fight them back, I will be spending most of my time there" she said the last part with a saddened voice

' So because I am weak...' I greeted my teeth
