Complicated
                                  Crystal POV (3)

After I came down,  off  Jay's desk.

Jay holded my waist as he cleaned me up, and helped me put back on my sweatpants and sweater.

Do you feel okay?

Jay says, rubbing my head.

I nod, softly saying yes.

As Jay is packing up his things, I feel my phone ring.

I grab my phone, seeing it's my mom calling.

I answer.

Crystal, where are you?. I thought you said you were coming home around the afternoon or evening time.

My mom says.

I look at jay, as i see him glance at me but then proceeds to keep packing,

I'm on my way back home mom, Layla and I are at the gas station.

I lied.

Alright crystal, I'll just see you soon honey.

My mom hangs up.

Who was that princess?

I look up at Jay.

It was my mom, she wanted to know where I was at.

Jay holds my hand, as we walk out his office and towards the elevator.

Well what did you say?   Jay asks.

I told her I was with my friend Layla,  and how I'll be home soon.

Jay furrows his eyebrows.

How come you didn't just tell your mom the truth baby ?

I bite my lip whispering.

Well see... i say.

It's complicated.

Jay grabs my chin, looking at me.

Baby, it's okay, I can keep up.

I start biting my lip again.

Well, my mommy doesn't know that i've been talking to a man,  as in you i say.

I play with my fingers nervously.

I also never dated before, or never had a boyfriend before either.

Jay smiles.

Well looks like i'll be your first for everything.

Jay winks.

I blush again.

Once the elevator stops, we make our way across the driveway back to Jay car.

Jay opens the passenger door for me.

I shyly get in, giving him a small thank you.

Jay then gets in, starting his car.

Alright baby let's get you home.

As we are driving, Jay slowly rests his hand on my thigh.

I blush again, and look out my window.

Before getting in the car with Jay , I used to be awkward but now the silence has been a comfortable type of silence.

Where now it's not awkward, to not talk at all to each other in the car.

Jay, can you park down the street?

I don't want my mom to be suspicious please.

Jay nods.

Anything for you baby.

As Jay parks the car I gather my belongings and open the door.

Baby....

Jay says.

I turn back looking at him.

Yes?

Jay pulls my arm, and my whole body closer to him giving me the most deepest passionate kiss.

Jay smirks, and leaves a kiss on my neck.

I just wanted to say my goodbyes, that's all.

Jay smirks again.

I blush and nod moving back out of the car, and giving him a wave.

I notice an unfamiliar car in the driveway, that puts a worried look on my face.

But I shrug it off, thinking it's probably just a friend of my moms.

I walk a few blocks closer down to my house, walking inside my home.

Crystal, hey baby.

My mom says, while giving me a hug.

I took off work early today.

I smile, that's good mom.

I drop down my bags hugging my mom, but as I pull away I hear sounds coming from the kitchen.

Mom, who's that?  I say.

My mom smiles big.

Well baby, there's someone I want you to say hi too that you know.

My mom pulls me along to the kitchen.

Crystal, this is Chris.

Chris, this is Crystal, your daughter.

My mom says.

My jaw drops, and I immediately become sick to my stomach.

Well then, Chris says, looking me up and down.

Aren't you just a pretty young thang?

All grown up.

Chris winks.

This man isn't just any man.

He's my biological dad.

I thought I would never see my dad in real life, after the divorce.

My dad never has seen me in person, only in pictures when I was a baby.

But why is he here ?

What if , he wants me to be in his life again?

Things just got way more complicated......
