"I'm tired.." I groan. The cool evening breeze brushes past me, the orange hue of the setting sun lighting up the streets.
"Me too..I wanna eat." Tobio yawns, squeezing my hand as he stretches. He had showered and changed his gym clothes already, a baggy blue zip-up over his shirt with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows.
"Me too.."
I reach into my bag after feeling my phone vibrate. Pulling it out, the screen is lit and a notification shows a text from my so lovely so kind so sweet manager.
mommy rei🥺😖 I'm gonna break into your house if you keep ignoring me you little brat.
I giggle at the text and unlock my phone, Tobio looking over my shoulder as I open her contact and video call her. It rings once before she picks up.
"Hey pookiee" I smile. I push some strands of hair out of my face as the wind picks up slightly, my skirt flowing a bit.
"Don't pookie me you rat. Do you have any idea how much work I've had to do for the past two days because of you and your little boyfriend?!" she yells. Rei is sat at her desk of her home office that I had been to multiple times. Her hair was tied up and she was in a grey shirt with a random woman's face on it and text reading 'balls are to be juggled'.
"I'm sorryy but hey! at least now you won't have to deal with people claiming they're my boyfriend anymore!" she sighs and leans back in her seat, clicking away on her computer as Tobio and I walk into a small convenience store to buy some snacks.
"Well there's that at least. But now there's like, 30 different variety shows and interviewers that want the both of you on them." Tobio's eyes widen at that as he picks out an ice cream from the freezer. He turns to look at me and points to himself in a "me?" way and I giggle and nod while turning the phone to him.
"Yes you." Rei rolls her eyes with a little smirk. "I've turned most of them down but they keep coming every singe second I breathe bro. I don't think you'll have any time to do them anyways with school and stuff, plus the interviews you already have planned for the next season of (insert show name) throughout this week-"
"Uhh excuse me since when did I have any interviews planned honey bear? We didn't discuss that..laugh out loud.." I turn the phone back to my face.
"Oh I didn't tell you? Well shucks! Anyways you have an online interview tomorrow at 5 and another one on Thursday at 3. And the photographer for (insert magazine name) are coming over later this week." she says then makes a finger heart.
"Put those fingers down you traitor. I just got here!" I groan leaning against the shelves of candy as I wait for Tobio to come back from whatever aisle he went off to. A girl waved at me but looked to shy to walk up to me so I waved back and smiled at her, mouthing apologetically that I was on the phone.
"You've been in Japan for over a week babes..I think you'll live." I sigh, turning to pick out some snacks for myself as she fills me in on all the appointments I have for the next few weeks and when she's finally done, Tobio has already come back and the sun has mostly gone down.
Walking up the the cashier, I see the girl from before and wave at her again. She smiles and nervously walks up to me with her phone in hand and I pull on Tobio's sleeve for him to stop.
"What's wrong?" he asks, looking at the girl as she walks over with her friends who looked just as excited as her.
"I think the want a picture with you. Aww look at you Mr popular." I giggle and he smirks, poking my side with his finger.
"Why would they want one with me, dumbass. You're the famous one here." The friend group finally reached where we were and they introduce themselves really sweetly, asking for a picture with the both of us.
Tobio didn't understand at first, going "me too?" like 8 times before I dragged him into the frame. His cheeks were red and he looked adorable, I was almost jealous that I wont get that picture.
"Thank you so much!" the girl, Sakura, said. I smiled and shook her and her friend's hands again and they bowed.
We continue the walk in a comfortable silence until we get back home, the sun already fully set. I take off my shoes then wait for him to take his off, then without speaking he heads to the kitchen and I walk up the stairs to my room to shower and change. About 30 minutes later, I'm laying on the bed all cozy in my pj's and he walks into my room with a tray of food.
I smile happily and scoot over to one side of the bed for him to lay down while I turn the TV on.
"What are we watching today?" he asks. I click the remote a few times as I scroll through netflix before finally picking out 'the future diary' (idk if its on netflix but lets say it is🫶)
"Again?" he smiles, "This is the 4th time since you got here n/n"
I climb into his lap and hug his torso while he wraps his arms around mine. I mostly like watching things with him because of how fast he falls asleep, then we can cuddle all night and it won't be weird if I somehow found my way into his shirt. "I'm not seeing the issue here." He laughs and my booty clenches at how yummy it sounds. I wish he laughed more but at least I have bragging rights to be one of the few people that get to hear it.
"Please don't say your booty is clenching."
