Rody's POV:

I wake up yawning a bit. I look over to my wall to see what time it is it's 8:58. I was supposed to be at work by 7:10. My heart dropped immediately as I scramble to get out of bed, trying hard to find my shoes, which I had just kicked off to the side the other day. I started to panic badly "Fuck!" I groan to myself as I very quickly put on my work uniform it was wrinkly but it was somthing.

After awhile I had finally found my shoes and slipped them on, not bothering to tie the shoe lasses. I hurriedly ran out the door downstairs to my apartment. I didn't even have time to brush my teeth! I hop onto my bike and start peddling as fast as I can. (When he says as fast as he can, he means at a steady pace, so his bike doesn't break apart)

Once I arrive at the bistro, I barge in panting heavily. "I'm here!" I yell, grabbing the attention of a lot of people who were sitting down some even whispering to others. I see a chef in my place as the waiter. Did Vince really fire me?! I think to myself as I run into the kitchen and hurriedly speed walk towards Vince, who I already know is heavily mad at me. "Vince!" I yelp out of breath as he stares at me, hunch over my hands on my knees as I breathe heavily.

"Vince, I'm so sorry I'm late -" he quickly shuts me up by pulling me in by my collar. I was shocked by him doing this, and I felt my face get a bit warm. That's weird.. "Fix your tie first of all. Also, you smell horrible. " He says, fixing my tie and also looking clearly annoyed "your not firing me?" I say my eyes lighting up."I should." He says in a sharp tone "for multiple reasons to."Oh yea? name at least 3." I say just teasing, but then he started the list

"First off, you're always late and lie about coming in early second. You're always doing a poor job and always come back with an extra plate at the end of the day. Third, you never brush your hair fourth your always-"

"Ok, I get it! I get it!" I say groaning "good now start working, " he says in a cold tone as usual." "ok!" I say, running off into the dining hall

Vincent's POV:

As I watched as Rody left, I went into my office, shutting the door behind me. I sat down in my chair and felt my face getting hot. Why did I pull him so close to me while I fixed his tie.. I think to myself quietly, why didn't I just fire him? I said I would, but.. he's just so cute- "NO STOP." I yelp, catching myself being a little to homo I mean, out of all people him? I'm really starting to question myself now.

I can't like him. I killed his girlfriend.. well, it's not like she loved him anyway, but still. Plus, I'm pretty sure he's straight he's never mentioned if he's attracted to any other gender though so I might have a chance.. as I continued to think to myself, I suddenly heard loud yelling and screaming coming from the dining area. I quickly got up and rushed to where I heard all the commotion,

Rody's POV:

As I stood there, taking in the insults of the customer whom I had accidentally spilled a drink on, I see Vince come in the dining area. I jolt up a bit. Yeah, I'm definitely being fired now. He comes over to us both and sighs trying to keep composure. "What happened here?" He said in a hushed tone, though it was obvious he was angry.

"Your server spilled wine all over my expensive dress! This cost more than this whole restaurant! If you don't pay me back, I will be pressing charges, and you will be hearing from my lawyer!" She kept screaming for another minute before Vince sighed and started to speak he spoke in a hushed tone, so it was quite hard to make put what he said, but I did see the women facial expression change quickly.

Whatever Vince had said made her regret what she had said earlier she apologized for the mess and left quickly. I was stunned at this point. Vince shot me a glare and told me to follow him to his office.
