Rody's POV:
As we walked to his office, I could feel eyes on us. Vince was practically dragging me by my wrist, not roughly, though as he continued pulling me along to his office, we entered the kitchen at this point even the chefs were staring at us. It made me a bit anxious, but Vince didn't seem to care.
Once we went into his office, finally, he shut the door and locked it behind us as he pulled me towards him roughly I felt my face get warm once again why am I feeling this way toward Vince? It doesn't matter right now.
"What were you thinking, Lamoree!?"He said in a harsh tone."Perhaps I'm too nice towards you. You're going to get a punishment for your shitty waiter service skills. You're lucky I'm not firing you at this point." He says, pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance."I'm sorry, Vince.. I've just been kind of stressed lately. I didn't mean to do any of that!" Vince sighs and stays quiet for a moment, probably thinking about what I should do as a punishment.
After about 5 seconds, he starts to talk again. "You'll be staying extra hours to help me clean the kitchen and dining area for 2 weeks." IS HE SERIOUS? I think to myself quietly, as soon as my shift is over I just want to go home and go to sleep but now I have to stay longer just because I keep screwing up.
"Alright, I'll help you clean up then starting today." I say calmly, Vince looks at me for another 3 seconds before stepping closer to me and fixing my hair. This caught me off gaured it was just random.
As he continued to fix my hair, I kind of just avoided eye contact with him. Knowing how close he was to my face was making me nervous after he finished that he backed away. "Also, please start putting more effort into your appearance before coming to work.
I nod, and after that, Vince unlocks the door and excuses me from his office. Once I leave the office, I feel some of the chefs eyes on me. I get a little nervous but decide to brush it off. I entered the dining area, and there were barely any people, probably because I and Vince talked so long it doesn't matter to me, though the fewer people, the better.
As the day went by, everything went by the same as usual. At the end of my shift, i stayed behind, like Vince had ordered me to I walk into the kitchen and he immediately gave me a rag and some cleaning spray. "Start cleaning." He said, pulling out his box of cigarettes and pulling one out lighting it and starting to smoke. "I'll be outside once you're done cleaning the kitchen. Move on to the dining area, alright?" He says in a stern tone.
"Alright, I will then," i say as I start to clean the stove he stays and watches for a bout 5 seconds before turning around to walk out the back door before stopping. "Oh right, I almost forgot.." He says, turning back to me and throwing a key towards me."Lock up for me, I forgot." He said before finally walking out the back door."Alright.." I mumble as I continue to clean the kitchen after what seemed like forever. I finish, and I go to the dining area to clean and lock the door.
Once I'm there, I walked over to the door about to lock, but then I remembered my bike "Shit!" I say, opening the door to see if my bile was still there once I see it. I sigh a breath of relief and lock the front door.

After I finish cleaning the dining area, I go to find Vince to give him his key back at first. I think he's in the back, so I go and walk there when I open the back door, I see he's not there. I go to his office to look next. I open the door, and he's not in there either. I enter his office and start looking around, and I start to get nosey. I look inside his drawer and see.. a picture of him and Mannon!?
My eyes widen in shock as I see this. How does he know mannon? Does he know she's missing? I felt a bit sick thinking about Mannons' disappearance. Was she just cheating on me the whole time? Did she really even love me..? All sorts of questions came to my mind until I snapped back into reality, putting the picture back where I found it.
I walked out of his office, and I felt conflicted. I walked into the dining room, getting ready to go home, not even caring about the key Vince had given me, but before I left, Vince calls put to me from upstairs. "Lamoree!" He said in his usual tone. I turn around and look at him, wondering if I should question him or not. I watch as he comes downstairs and reaches his hand out, "My key, please."
I hand him his key, his hand brushing against mine it felt so soft I wanted to hold it. Wait.. what? WHAT? why am I thinking about him? That way, he could possibly be with my girlfriend or well.. ex girlfriend? It doesn't matter, as all these thoughts rush to my head. I feel Vince touched my shoulder. I felt my face get warm once again as I snapped back into reality.
"You Alright Lamoree?" He says with a slightly concerned face. "Oh, uh yea, I'm alright." I say, smiling and rubbing the back of my neck "if your not feeling well you could stay until morning." He said sternly I felt my cheeks get hotter as he said this I mean I didn't really feel like biking home anyways plus I wanted to spend more time with Vince.. I MEAN uh.. question him and stuff yea.
I slowly part my lips to talk again "yes I would like to stay the night I feel to tired to bike home anyways.." I say smiling softly "Alright let's go then." He says grabbing me by the wrist and pulling me upstairs I just wish it was my hand he was holding instead..
