Welcome back to Adaptation. I don't really have another particular reason for updating this. Just cause I felt like it. Sorry if the last one felt short and rushed. That's my bad. I'll take my time with this chapter.

Enjoy...

Morning...

...

...

...

RING
RING
RING

Fushiguro is woken up by the sounds of his phone ringing. He takes it and looks at the caller ID.

...

"Dad...?"

"How you feeling buddy!?"

"Well... no broken bones so far..."

...

"Did you just call me Dad...?"

...

...

"You never heard that."

Ramona is woken up by the conversation Fushiguro is having on the phone. She turns toward him.

"Baby... who is it...?"

Fushiguro looks at Ramona.

"It's my adoptive father. You may have met him at The Rockit," Fushiguro answers.

Ramona tries to get her brain together to figure out Fushiguro's simple answer.

...

"That Gojo guy...?"

"Mhm."

"Look at you calling me father~!"

"S-Shut it! What are you calling me for anyway?"

"I'm on a business trip with my best friend Geto. I won't be back for a minute, so, keep up with your training, make sure Yuji and Nobara are too, and uh... good luck with your new girlfriend~."

Fushiguro groans before hanging up.

"What was it?" Ramona asked.

"My schedule just opened for a good while. He's on a business trip with his friend," Fushiguro answers.

"Did he say where?" Ramona asks.

"He never tells me where he's going. Just a heads up that he's leaving and always surprising me with his long returns."

"What a father figure huh?" Ramona asks, giggling.

"I guess..."

...

"Let's get up though..."

Ramona and Fushiguro get up from his bed. Ramona makes her way to his bathroom while Fushiguro goes on his phone and makes a group call.

...

...

...

"Fushiguro. It is eight in the morning!"

Nobara spoke first.

"What's the issue!? Did he come to you instead!?"

That was Yuji's voice next.

"Gojo told me to tell you that he's on a business trip, so don't slack with our training," Fushiguro says.
