Dusk & Dawn: A High & Low FanFiction: Todoroki Focus

Chapter Nine

      A month has passed since Roki and I have been dating and things have been going well. We've both been working a lot to make sure we can pay for everything we need to. On the weekends Haruto has been helping out at a cafeteria to earn a little bit of his own money. But all in all things have been good, until Shoji came to warn me.
      "Welcome in!" I called in a cheery voice as the bell above the door sounded. Looking up from the counter seeing Shoji standing there looking uneasy. "Shoji what's wrong? You don't seem like yourself?" I questioned giving him a concerned look. "I need to tell you something but as I tell you make it seem like I'm ordering, they might be watching me," He spoke.
     Nodding I grabbed a menu before taking him over to a table. Placing the menu in front of him while taking out my notepad and pen from my apron. "I'll have this," He spoke pointing to an Iced Café Latte. Nodding I wrote it down as he scanned over the rest of the menu. "They're going to attack Oya to take over. Amagai is leading Kamasaka with him in this fight. Ebara joined the alliance only because Fujin and Raijin want to get Todoroki. I don't want to be in this fight, I'm being forced into it," He spoke while pointing to different things on the menu.
     Nodding I kept writing everything down. "Is that all?" I questioned softly. "I wanted to warn you cause I don't want you caught in the middle. Amagai plans on using you as bait for Oya. He knows how much you mean to them, he plans to use you," He spoke pointing to one last thing. Nodding I wrote it down before picking up the menu. "Thank you I'll be careful and your order will be out soon, don't worry most will be on the house," I spoke giving him a smile before walking away.
      That now leads us to today. I was hanging out with Shibaman and Tsuji today. They said they'd come with me to pick out a present for Roki since his birthday was coming up. "Where did you say Riku was again?" Shibaman questioned. "He's at home with Haruto. They're going to the park later once I get home," I spoke while looking down at my phone.
       "Is it safe for them to be alone?" Tsuji questioned. "Haruto has a knife I taught him to use if anything happens. Plus I taught Riku an escape plan so if anything happens he can run to get help while staying safe," I stated clicking on a picture of a watch. Smiling I took a screenshot of it before going back to looking for a few other things to get Roki.
      "Ahh," I huffed as the bus suddenly stopped throwing me forward into the seat in front of me. "The hell?!" Shibaman shouted while standing up. "You okay?" Tsuji questioned helping me up. "I'm fine," I assured straightening my clothes while standing up. "TODOROKI!" A voice boomed from outside. Looking out the front window seeing Fujin and Raijin blocking the boss with some Ebara and Kamasaka students.
      "Open the door we're getting off," I huffed going to the door. Quickly the three of us walked off facing the group of boys, as the bus sped away. "Where's your leader?!" Raijin snapped. "We don't know we aren't his keeper," Tsuji huffed. "Where's your boyfriend princess?!" Fujin huffed storming over to me. Quickly Shibaman and Tsuji stepped in front of me blocking Fujin's path.
      "I'm not telling you where he is. Even if you beat me I won't tell you," I huffed glaring at the boy. "What about your brother, Haruto. Where's he at?" Raijin questioned with a smirk. Growling I pushed between my two friends storming up to Raijin. "My brother is off limits so is my baby nephew. Anything happens to either of them I'll take a prison sentence," I seethed balling up my fist at my sides.
      Chuckling he quickly hit me in the gut before the other students attacked my friends. Groaning I started fighting Fujin and Raijin, while Shibaman and Tsuji took care of the rest. Taking a hard hit to the ribs causing me to drop to the ground gasping for air. "MAYUMI!" The boys shouted over to me. "Raijin you take her I'll finish with these two, then we'll find Todoroki," Fujin spoke.
      Quickly another hit came to my face putting me in more of a daze, before I was thrown over someone's shoulder. Groaning I lifted my head watching my two friends trying their hardest to get to me, but there was too many henchmen. Sighing I let my head drop back down as I laid limp over Raijin's shoulder. "Roki will kill you for hurting me, he'll kill you for hurting Shibaman and Tsuji, and he'll kill you if you dare lay a finger on Haruto or Riku," I seethed.
      "Let him try. We have an army he has no one," He spat back. "You're wrong. Roki has everyone, Oya has everyone," I chuckled. "Like who?" He questioned as we walked into a school. "You'll see when they come," I spoke.
      Letting out a groan I was dropped onto the floor. Looking around seeing we were in a dimly lit gym with only Raijin and another boy in it. "Amagai will be happy seeing she's here. Means we'll have Todoroki begging on his knees," The other boy chuckled.
      Chuckling I pushed myself up leaning my back against the railing. Keeping my eyes on the boy that made the comment as I pushed myself to stand. "He begs for no one. He'll come, but it won't be to save me, it'll be to kill you," I chuckled while readying myself.
      Launching forward I landed a hit on both Raijin and the mystery boy I couldn't see clearly. Dropping down kicking their legs out from under them, before running for the stairs. Quickly getting down them only to be stopped by Amagai coming in with his goons, and an unconscious Tsukasa.
       "Tsukasa!" I called running over to him. Dropping down next to him on the ground taking in his beaten appearance. "Tsukasa wake up," I spoke gently shaking him. My eyes darting up to Amagai as they glossed over with tears. Getting to my feet storming forward hitting Amagai with a right hook. Throwing my fist again with a left hook and an uppercut before my arms were grabbed, and held behind me.
        "I'LL KILL YOU! YOU FUCKING BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY FRIENDS! HOW DARE YOU TOUCH OYA!" I screamed at him as rage coursed through my body. "I see why Todoroki likes you. You're feisty," Amagai mused wiping the blood from his lip.
        Thrashing around in the persons hold as I tried to break free. Amagai chuckled more as he walked up the stairs signaling his goons to bring Tsukasa and I up there. Once up top they tied my arms together while also tying me to the railing. I sat there watching helplessly as they propped Tsukasa up next to me, tying him up as well.
        "Tsukasa," I whispered as a small groan came from him. Watching as his eyes cracked open and he looked around. His eyes slightly widening as he looked at me, his concern quickly turning to rage. "How dare you touch her! Mayumi is off limits!" He spat glaring at Amagai. "Why's that hm?" He mused while crouching in front of us.
       "No one touches the princess of Oya," Tsukasa spat. Amagai let out another chuckle as his eyes wondered over to me. His eyes getting a wicked glint to them as his hand tightly grabbed my chin. "Princess you say?" He mused while eyeing me. "Don't touch her!" Tsukasa growled.
       "I think we'll have all of Oya begging on their knees to save her," Amagai mused while untying me from the railing. Pulling me to my feet dragging me with him down the stairs. Chuckling he threw me to the ground while darting his eyes up to Tsukasa who was watching helplessly.
      "Time to test my theory," Amagai mused stalking over to me. Patting me down before pulling out my phone. "Saboten record for me, Suzaki, Tsudanma guard the doors. Everyone else get out!" He spat glaring around the room while passing Saboten my phone. I laid their watching as everyone did as they were told before my eyes landed back on Amagai.
      With a wicked grin he crouched down in front of me. "I didn't want to do this, but it might be the only way to get what I want," He spoke while grabbing my face. Chuckling he forcibly kissed me before drawing back, looking at me as his eyes only grew darker.
      "Don't touch her!" Tsukasa shouted. "You sick bastard!" I snapped trying to crawl away from him. Chuckling he stood up before kicking me in the gut repeatedly. Groans kept breaking from me with every kick he landed. "You can't get away from me," He seethed stalking over grabbing a pipe. My eyes clouded with tears as I struggled to breathe.
       Watching him come back over with the pipe held tightly in his hand. "Suzaki hold her down!" He seethed. "Stop! Don't touch her! I'll kill you! We'll kill you!" Tsukasa shouted as he struggled against his restraints. Soon Suzaki was next to me holding me down with his eyes closed. My eyes going to Amagai as they widened as he lifted the pipe.
       "Gahhhhhh!" I cried as the pipe slammed down on my leg repeatedly, until I felt it break. I laid there screaming as the pain radiated through me. "MAYUMI!" Tsukasa screamed in desperation. "Shut him up!" Amagai ordered. Screams and cries kept leaving me as Amagai came and crouched in front of me. Grabbing my face roughly while smiling down at me.
      "Let's see how important you truly are to them," He chuckled before standing up. Watching him go over to Saboten taking my phone from him. "Leave her there," He spoke walking back up the stairs with his friends following behind him. Laying there groaning while trying to catch my breath as my eyes closed.
