"A whole tart has gotta be pretty expensive," Deuce said thoughtfully.

"Seriously? I don't have that much money!" Ace complained.

Cater dropped an idea, "Then why not make one yourself? Trey made those three tarts by hand, after all."

Ophelia looked at the green haired vice housewarden, impressed. He didn't look like a baker.

"You made those tarts, Trey? That's incredible! That was like something you'd find at a bakery!" Ace exclaimed.

Trey laughed awkwardly, "I appreciate that. We do have most of the stuff you'd need, but...I'm afraid I'll need something from you in return."

Ace immediately blew up, "You're gonna charge me to make it?! What kinda racket...?!"

Before Ace could continue, Trey interrupted him, "Nah, I wouldn't take money from a freshman! But Riddle wants a chestnut tart next, so I'm gonna need you to gather a ton of chestnuts."

"Like that's any less of a hassle. But...fine. How many do you need?"

"Well, it's for the unbirthday party, so...Probably two or three hundred?"

"Did you say HUNDRED?!" Deuce and Grim yelled.

"And they're all gonna need to be boiled, shelled, and pureed," Trey smiled innocently.

Grim wasn't interested, "Alright, I'm gonna head out."

"I'm leaving too," Deuce agreed.

"You heartless cowards!" Ace glared.

Cater spoke up, "Hold up! Haven't you ever heard that food tastes better if you make it with your friends? This'll be a memory to treasure! It could even be your chance to make a splash as a cooking blogger!"

"Don't tell Riddle, but chestnut tarts are at their tastiest when eaten right out of the oven. And the only people who get to experience that culinary privilege are the ones who make it," Trey bribed.

Ophelia knew where it was going. She stood, "All of you can enjoy doing that. I want no part of it."

They all looked at her surprised, "You don't like tarts?"

"I don't like chestnuts."

Cater had the right answer to get her sway her decision, "The more you help, the sooner Acey will be out of your dorm."

"When do we start?" She asked.

"Whoa, she didn't hesitate!" They said.

"Why would I want him to stay? He's a guy. I don't want any guy sleeping in my dorm."

Cater tugged at a piece of hair, "Knew it."

"Cmon, humans, let's do this!" Grim cheered.

"Do chestnuts grow around here or will we have to find somewhere to buy them?" Ophelia asked.

"I heard there's a whole bunch of chestnut trees in the woods behind the campus's botanical garden," Trey told them.

"Cool. Plan made. Let's meet at the botanical garden after last period," Ace said energetically.

"We're gonna be up to our ears in chestnuts!" Grim cheered.

Ophelia sighed as they finally left the lunch room to go to their next classes. She had been signed up for Astrology and spellcrafting. Interesting subjects when she wasn't stressed.

When class was over, she headed to her dorm and changed into her PE uniform before looking for the chestnut trees in the woods behind campus. It didn't take long for her to find Grim.
