{1 day before prom}
"Jennie! Did you buy the dress you needed?" Jisoo asked as she I went out of the class.
"Nope"
"What? Aren't you going to the prom? I thought you would be excited. I mean after all you ar-"
"Shut up!" I closed her mouth with my hands. I can tell my face would be bright red, as I could feel my ears burn up.
Lucy stood tall right in front of me and looked at Jisoo.
"Now I am curious of what Jisoo was about to say" she smiled and held my hand to take it off her mouth.
"No! I don't see why she needs to tell you such things." I crossed my arms and rolled her.
"If you wanna know, pay me 100 bucks, I bet you cant-" Lucy took out 100 bucks out of bag and slaps it on Jisoo's hand.
"There. Now tell me"
"I-... WHAT?? where did you get this from!?" Jisoo was very happy. OBVIOUSLY! UGH! THIS...
calm down Jennie, it's not like Jisoo wil rant you out.
"You told me to pay, and I did. Now I wanna know the secret of little missy here" she looks at me with a smirk, as I just rolled my eyes.
"Ugh, I am leaving!" I turned away but she held my hand and pulled me to her. I lost my balance and placed my hand on her chest to support myself. This honestly looked like some romance drama scene.
"Sorry!" I said and got off her.
"I don't think she minds" Jisoo shruggs while counting her cash.
"Yeah, I will ask her straight. I hope you are okay?" She helps me to stand straight.
"So care telling me?"
"About?" I tried to act like I didn't know what she was talking about.
"About the prom." She whispers as she smirks.
"Do you have someone in your mind to ask?"
"Nope"
"Yes!" Jisoo said and gives her a wink.
"Oh? Now I am really really curious. Knowing you, who will you ask? Kai?"
"Ew no. Also! Why do you care?" I rolled my eyes at her, while she just blinks.
"Finally! Our Jennie is back!" Jisoo screams and runs into the classroom to shout that again.
"Jezz.." I held my forehead and sighed.
"If not Kai, then who?"
"Why do you care? Didn't I ask you to come with me. I wouldn't leave you just like that and go to a guy."
"Are you saying that you want me to be your partner? Is this a confession?" She laughs, taking it like a joke. Ugh only if she knew. I slapped her arm.
"No way. You can keep dreaming if that what keeps you alive"
"Oh please." Now it's her turn to roll her eyes.
"I guess you will be taking Rosie for the prom" I said as I looked away, trying to hide my expression.
I was kinda jealous of them...
"Nope. Jisoo and Rosie are going together"
"WHAT!?" jisoo looks at her with widened eyes.
"Oh shit... She didn't ask you yet?"
"Oh no. You spoilt it Lucy." I shake my head.
"Oh no she is going to kill me! Jisoo you better act suprised!" She groans as I looked at her with a smile.
There are times where she breaks her character, I find it cute.
I wish she was more like Lisa then who she is right now.
"Jisoo I will pay you 100 bucks more! You better act suprised!"
"Chicken bucket." Jisoo says
"Yes. That too"
"You have to buy whenever I ask"
"Yes. I will! So please!"
"Please what?" Rosie walks in to our conversation and looks at Lucy and Jisoo.
"Nothing!" Both Lucy and Jisoo say at the same time.
"Hm~ should I say" I smiled as I looked at them, they eyes widened in horror.
Lucy comes up to me and closed my mouth and dragged me away from them.
I then held her wrist and pull it away.
"Dear god why is your hand so big?"
"It's not?" She takes her hand off my mouth. As she raised her eyebrow.
I just sighed as held her shoulder to push her away from me, since she was standing so close, I could literally breath in her scent.
"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes and she takes my hand and placed it against her trying to compare size.
I just stared at her through my lashes, as she was taller than me. I felt my breath hitched as she arranged her fingers against mine.
"See. Told you" I whispered as she chuckles. God.
Why are you making it hard for me.... I can barely keep my mouth shut about how much I want her now.
Why and when did I fall for this stupid.
Even the bare minimum she does makes me wanna do a backflip.
"I didn't know I was huge"
"Don't make it sound weird"
"Oh right... But" she intertwined her fingers against mine, her grip was firm. She just looks at me with a smirk, she knew how she made me feel and I hated it.
"Let me go." I plead, with a small voice. Half of me didn't want her to let out of the hold.
"Uh.. the class is starting." Our class teacher Mr. Kim said as he stood tall in front of us.
Lucy, instead of letting my hand go, she just drags me to the class.
We sat at our place, still hand on hand. I look away from her, using my free hand to hide my small smile. I bit my lip and looked at my feet. She moves her fingers, playing with my hand...
God. Is this... What is this feeling... I fucking hate it.
I glanced at her, too see if I could understand what she was thinking but she was just staring at the white board with her poker face. I looked down at our hands.
The butterflies in my stomach were in my throat now. I swear I let out a small moan, when she intertwined again.
The way her soft hand feels against mine... Lord have mercy.
"So... Do you wanna go to prom with me....or....Lisa?" She whispered as she gripped my hand.
"Hm, well... Up to you" I smiled, as she nods her hand and let go of my hand.
"Then. I shall ask Lisa to come" she smiled back.
"Thank you"
