30 Nights [BangChan]

Prologue

As the last sun is about to set to Barrow, Alaska, villagers got ready to survive 30 days of Night. Most people left to cities leaving only the Alaskan's.

One of them were towns Fire Brigade Officer, Emma. Who was planning to catch the last flight out to California from Alaska.

24 year old young women who worked in Barrow Fire Brigade as the only female officer started to finish her work to start the journey to the airport.

"Well I thought you will stay for this month Emma" Brax, her partner said as she finished off signing the last documents.

"Sorry Brax not this time. I gotta go home" Emma said.

"But seriously if you stay you could at least make up with Chris" Emma sighed. "I don't know what you are talking about Brax." with that she left leaving a confused Brax behind.
 
Meanwhile Chris, the sheriff of the small town were on duty with his deputy, Carl.
"Chris you have to talk with Emma first or else how will you solve this issue."

"Look right now, I'll just keep quiet cause I, myself don't know what happened" Chris said right as they got a radio active.

"Chris there seem to be something unexplained happened in the West Mountains. Better check it out"

"Copy that. We are on our way"

"Half a dozen of cell phones? Like what did the person who did this expected" Carl's said as he examined the burnt cell phones.

"It's weird. This place is middle of nowhere too." Chris took a look around.

"Maybe kids pulled a prank?"

Without answers both the officers got into the truck and head off to the station.
"John Rogers have a situation"

"Damn you'll have to deal with it alone. Lewy is waiting for me at home" Carl's got off by the station.

"It's fine-" Chris got cut off as his ringtone makeshift the air.
Seeing Emma calling him he was hesitant.

"Hello?"

"H-hey? I.. kinda need a ride to the airport, my car got crashed."

"You are still in the town? Well I thought we might talk first" Chris said.

"Umm we could have that talk in the ride tho" Emma suggested.

Chris sighed and got off the truck, "Carl's can you pick Emma up from the town her car crashed."

Carl's nodded and Chris got into the truck "John Rogers got a situation so I have to go there but Carl will be there to pick you"

Emma sighed as she cut the line off waiting for Carl's.

"Hey, you okay?" Carl asked as he found Emma.

"I am freezing" Emma got in.

"Well no talking let's race to the airport cause I might miss the flight if not" She added as they head off.

But to her bad luck the last flight took off as she came there.
'Shit no no no'

'Great now I am stuck in this town for a month'

"Girl where will you STAY now?" Carl's who was leaning to his car asked her.

"I'll handle it don't worry"

"Make up with Chris. You can STAY with him" He suggested. 'Oh bad idea Carl'

"I'll think about something other than that" Carl's shook his head as he got in. " but seriously, you need tell me what happened between you two"

"It'll take a century for that Carl" Emma muttered as she got in.

"I said I need raw meat"

"We don't sell them sir" Lucy, the town's Diner owner said.

"I NEED IT NOW"

"Sir, is there a problem here? You need to calm down first" Chris appeared in the diner.

The man laughed. "And do you gonna do about it, Sheriff?"

"I can simply put you behind bars for vandalism sir" Chris said with a smirk.

The man let out a maniac laugh. "You will be vanished when they come"

"You all will be" he said referring to the other people who were present there.

"Sir better calm down. Or else it won't end well to you" A gun appeared behind the man's head.

The man attacked who ever that was behind him but Chris got hold of him and cuffed him up.

"Didn't know the fire department let you guys take that everywhere?" Chris asked Emma eyeing the gun in her hand.

"Nobody asked so."

Chris took the guy out of the diner, "wait I am coming too" Emma trailed behind.

"So you couldn't catch the flight huh?"

"Yeah. Sun is dipping soon and my stupid car got crashed on the way, I didn't see the truck coming from the other side as it snowed" Emma said.

"Hell of a day I guess"

A laugh came from the back seat.

"It will be worse soon! They are coming for your town"

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the town into shadow, Chris couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over him.

Little did he know, darker days lay ahead for Barrow, and Emma would soon find herself at the center of the town's struggle for survival.
