Chapter 5: Villanous chaos

It was different and awkward but still kind of fun as since both Izuku and Mina were sick with a cold they didn't have to attend classes until they felt better so technically they had the dorms all to themselves but in reality Toru had a feeling they spend last night out in the rain so she kept on texting Mina for updates on what happened. Izuku and Mina made the most of having the dorms to themselves by huddling under their blankets with some hot coco and soup while they sat on a couch in the living area with Izuku thinking about the events that happened last night, Mina saying she would date him and kissing him on the cheek as he would freeze up each time they made eye contact. Mina then went into her curiosity mode as she set her bowl down on the table in front of them and slowly wiggled herself closer to Izuku and lightly nudged him with her elbow.

"Midoriya I know we're both sick but I get the feeling something is bothering you.. if it's something I did then please tell me ok!" She pleaded but Izuku put a hand up and shook his head "No it's nothing you did Ashido.. it's-it's just that" he froze again for a second but Mina gave him a bright smile and that let him continue "Last night M-Mina what you asked me.. about how last night was a date... I ummm I-I-I would like to-to think it ummmm w-was" he croaked realising the gravity of what he was saying as the both of them now blushed deeply, Mina then took his hand in hers while biting her bottom lip lightly "Well then last night was a date ok, but we won't rush anything got it? We'll be slow in how we approach things ok Izuku?" She asked now feeling like her emotions understood what the situation was about.

Izuku nodded in response as he now felt emotions similar to how Mina felt towards him, he gulped but since Mina didn't want to rush it he knew they didn't have to do anything and be friends for the time being and let things play out. This was definitely new for both of them, both training to be pro heroes while having and developing feelings for each other "I'll see how many soups are left" Mina told Izuku as she went into the kitchen area and immediately texted Toru "Toru Toru listen, so I sort of confessed, you know saying I would actually date him and last night he said he would consider it a date BUT we are taking things slow as friends ok so I am trusting you with this please please please keep it under wraps!" Mina sent it to Toru as at the same time Izuku was sending a message to All Might.

"Hey All Might, so with hero training and all that I've got something else, you know Ashido right? Well turns out she likes me and I'm starting to have feelings for her and might need some help with it but I should be able to manage by myself like a hero should!" Izuku then sent his text to All Might, luckily Toru and All Might were in different parts of the school cause their reactions were just about the same, pure joy for what they had seen in the messages while trying not to get attention to themselves. Mina returned after a minute and sat back down on the couch and that's when izuku's emotions wanted to take over and take over they did as his mouth moved quicker than his brain did "S-so then Mina.. when you gave me that quick kiss on the cheek-"
"Izuku yes I have a crush on you and well I just couldn't help it, you are amazing and I felt at that time a simple hug wouldn't be enough" Mina spat out as both started blushing have used their first names properly as Mina then hid under her blanket as her blush intensified from her sudden thought 'I bet his lips are soft and sweet' she thought to herself, she then poked her head out of the blanket.

"Movies and tv shows make it so simple huh? All this romantic stuff but they aren't training to be heroes, like imagine if heroes were already dating and went on patrol together" Mina said with a soft smile as Izuku smiled back "That would be cool wouldn't it? And imagine if they'd have to combine names or something? What would ours be? Dekuky? Pinku?" He said as then they both couldn't help but start chuckling at the idea, that little chuckle moment helped put their nerves at ease for a bit, the thoughts of romance pushed aside for now in place of thoughts of being in the company of a friend. Mina's phone then kept getting messages from Toru "How's it been going with Midoriya? Make sure to look after each other ok? Stay warm and get well soon!" Mina rolled her eyes playfully as she replied saying things are going well and they are looking after each other.
