Chapter 9: Infiltration?

The next day was like no other, Mina was sat at a table for breakfast with her lunchtime group and way more happier than ever, an aura of happiness, one that annoyed a certain explosive boy "Ok raccoon eyes what's got you all smiley for? It's starting to piss me off!" Bakugo huffed as Kirishima shot him an apologetic look. Mina suppressed a chuckle as she responded "Well geez not my fault I can be happy in my life Bakugo, but if you must know, it's none-ya!" Bakugo's eye visibly twitched as he went to spout more insults and loud words but Sero taped him while 2 others helped drag Bakugo away "You know Ashido it's not wise to annoy Bakugo this early in the morning, especially before we technically haven't started school yet" Kirishima stated not knowing what Bakugo would do.

Mina just shrugged with a chuckle, why would she let someone like Bakugo deflate her happiness or anyone else for that matter, yesterday was so far the best day she ever had, she got to kiss the boy she liked and he liked her back and they agreed to be in a relationship and to top it off they slow danced. Mina let out a sigh of happiness "Kirishima let me enjoy this moment and let me soak in my own happiness"
"Well you better enjoy it faster cause Midoriya keeps glancing over" Kirishima sighed back while hiding a smile and that was enough to bring Mina to reality again as Kirishima was right, Mina caught Izuku glancing over. Kirishima slightly gestured for Mina to go over but Mina elbowed him lightly for him to stop though Izuku was already making his way over 'With everything that happened yesterday I think we need to keep it a surprise a bit longer' he thought to himself as he got closer to Mina.

Izuku then sat down opposite Mina and it took her brain a few seconds to catch-up with her eyes, by school group standards Izuku shouldn't be sitting at a table like Mina's group though with Bakugo not there it was definitely a whole lot easier. Though maybe Izuku should've stayed at his table after all cause other students kept on looking over and Izuku could sense it making him freeze up, yes he could do hero work in public but this wasn't hero work though Izuku's body had moved on it's own so once he has sat down he didn't know what to do but the awkward moment was interrupted by an even more awkward moment, Bakugo returning to the table "Deku? What the hell are you doing here? Get your ass moving!" He spat "O-Oh hey Kacchan, I was j-just going to help A-Ashido and Kirishima with s-some school work that's all!" Izuku replied nervously 'Nice save' Mina and Kirishima thought to themselves as Bakugo shot them a look then stormed off.

Kirishima then asked a question to make Izuku and Mina nervous "So Midoriya, did you come over here to talk to Ashido and maybe ask her something?" He asked with a slight smirk, Mina elbowed him again as she rolled her eyes "Kirishima if Midoriya wants to sit with for us a little then he can, besides he's the most nicest guy at this school and smart, don't forget smart" she flashed Izuku a sweet smile and made him start to blush while giving Kirishima a look of you aren't winning this conversation to which Kirishima nodded and accepted she was right though continued talking "Though with exams, hero studies and the dance coming up how are you going with that Midoriya?" Kirishima asked as he was curious if Mina would jump in to practically ask Izuku to the dance though they already were going to it together.

Izuku was about to reply, a little nervously at the last part when Jiro walked over "Hey Kirishima, Toru wants to talk to you. Have you got a second?" Kirishima nodded then went to find Toru and as she left Jiro have Mina a reassuring smile to let Mina know she had it covered. Both Izuku and Mina let out a sigh of relief and chuckled a little "We'll tell everyone but not yet huh Izuku?" She asked with a smile, Izuku nodded with a smile of his own as the thoughts of the dance came back into his mind, the thoughts of seeing Mina in a dress causing him to hide his face and his deep blush. Mina made sure no one was looking, so she ran a hand through his hair "Hehe what's got you all flustered Izuku?" She said softly, Izuku rose his head as he replied "It w-was about the d-dance since I was imagining y-you in a dress"
