Yha, catching Mon as she's about to leave the office, pitches an impromptu dinner invitation. "Mon, how about dinner tonight? I've got something special planned," she suggests with a hopeful smile.

Mon, still nursing the emotional wounds from her recent breakup, hesitates, her heart heavy with sadness. "Thanks, Yha, but I'm not really up for it. I'm still feeling pretty down about Sam," she confesses, avoiding eye contact.

Noi, overhearing the exchange, steps in with a gentle yet persuasive tone. "Come on, Mon, it might do you good to have some company and distract yourself for a bit. We're here for you, whatever you need," she offers, her sincerity evident in her eyes.

Mon, torn between her reluctance and her friends' insistence, lets out a resigned sigh. "Okay, fine. I'll come," she agrees reluctantly, steeling herself for the evening ahead. "But don't expect me to be the life of the party."

Yha and Noi exchange a knowing glance as they notice Mon still lost in her thoughts at her desk. With a silent agreement, they both approach Mon, each offering her a supportive hand to help her up.

"Come on, Mon, let's get you out of here," Yha says gently, her voice infused with warmth and understanding.

Noi nods in agreement. "Yeah, a change of scenery will do you good," she adds, offering Mon a reassuring smile.

Mon, touched by their gesture of kindness, allows herself to be led out of the office by her friends, feeling grateful for their unwavering support during this difficult time.

As the dinner progresses, plates of delicious food make their way around the table, accompanied by glasses of wine and other beverages. Noi, feeling the effects of the alcohol, becomes more candid, her inhibitions loosening with each sip.

Leaning in closer to Mon, Noi's words come out slightly slurred. "You know, Mon, I get it," she begins, her tone softened by empathy. "I understand Sam's paranoia. It's tough loving someone who hasn't fully moved on from their past, especially when it feels like you're competing with a ghost," she confesses, her words tinged with a hint of sadness.

"Noi, you're so right," Noi slurs, her words slightly muddled by the alcohol. "Nop and Mon have been together for like, what, 8 years? And then, bam! Sam shows up out of nowhere just two months ago," she continues, her gestures exaggerated for emphasis.

"And you know what, Mon?" Noi leans in closer to Mon, her voice dropping to a confidential whisper. "I've seen you, girl. I've seen you staring at Nop's photo like he's some kind of lost love from a bygone era," she adds, her tone a mix of sympathy and concern. "It's like you're still holding on to something that's long gone, you know?" she concludes, her words punctuated by a wistful sigh.

"This is all your fault!" she declares, pointing an accusatory finger at Yha and Noi, her words slightly slurred from the alcohol.

"Sam heard you two blabbering about me and Nop," Mon continues, her tone escalating with each word. "You couldn't keep your mouths shut, could you?" she adds, her anger simmering just beneath the surface. "Now look where it's gotten us," she concludes, her voice trailing off as she leans back in her chair, her frustration palpable in the air.

"Listen," Noi interjects, her words slightly slurred as she tries to make her point. "If Mon really loves Sam, she'll understand where Sam's coming from," she insists, her tone surprisingly earnest despite the alcohol clouding her judgment.

Yha, noticing Noi's increasing level of intoxication, reaches over to gently place a hand on her arm, trying to quell the escalating conversation. "Hey, Noi, I think you've had enough," Yha murmurs softly, her voice laced with concern. "Let's save the deep talks for another time, okay?" she suggests, attempting to diffuse the situation before it spirals further out of control.

With the evening winding down and the effects of the alcohol beginning to wear off, Yha and Noi help Mon out of the bar, their steps a bit unsteady but filled with camaraderie. As they reach the street, they exchange tired smiles and affectionate hugs before parting ways, each heading home to rest and recover from the eventful night. Though the night may have been filled with laughter, tears, and drunken confessions, the bond between the three friends remains unbreakable, a comforting thought as they navigate the ups and downs of life together.

Stumbling slightly as she walks alone, Mon's thoughts are consumed by the words Noi uttered earlier at the bar. "Noi just doesn't get it," she mutters to herself, her voice tinged with frustration and sadness. Each step feels heavier as she replays the conversation in her mind, feeling misunderstood and alone in her pain.

The streetlights cast long shadows as Mon continues on her solitary journey, the night air cool against her flushed cheeks. Despite the bustling city around her, she feels isolated in her thoughts, grappling with the weight of her emotions in the quiet of the night. As she walks, she resolves to find a way to confront her feelings and seek solace in her own understanding of her situation.

Meanwhile, Sam stands in the dimly lit parking lot, lost in her thoughts as she replays the vivid dream that has been haunting her. The image of Mon and Nop together, transcending to another world, lingers in her mind, stirring up a mixture of longing and confusion.

As she gazes out into the night, her attention is drawn to a figure stumbling along the sidewalk, illuminated by the glow of the streetlights. It's Mon, alone and clearly intoxicated, her steps unsteady as she navigates the path ahead.

A pang of concern washes over Sam as she watches Mon's solitary journey, her heart aching at the sight of her former partner in such a vulnerable state. Despite the lingering questions and uncertainties clouding her mind, Sam feels a tug of empathy, a reminder of the deep bond that once connected her to Mon.

As Mon disappears into the darkness, Sam is left standing in the quiet of the parking lot, her thoughts swirling with conflicting emotions. Unsure of what to do next, she remains rooted to the spot, grappling with the weight of her own feelings and the complexities of the situation unfolding before her.

In her intoxicated haze, Mon continues to murmur to herself, her mind consumed by the hurtful comments Noi made about her breakup. Lost in her thoughts, she steps out onto the street without a second glance, oblivious to the oncoming car.

As the car approaches, seemingly destined for a collision with Mon, a sudden force pulls her back just in time. Startled, she stumbles backward into the arms of someone familiar, someone who holds her with a strength born of concern and care. It's Sam.

Mon's eyes meet Sam's, and in that moment, a flood of emotions washes over them both. Mon's gaze is filled with gratitude and disbelief, while Sam's eyes reflect a mixture of fear and relief.

Together, they watch as the car speeds past, narrowly avoiding tragedy. Sam holds Mon tightly, her heart racing as she realizes how close they came to losing each other. Mon, shaken but safe in Sam's embrace, feels a wave of gratitude wash over her, grateful for the unexpected intervention that brought them together once more.
