FORCED TO SAY behind, Indigo was sitting on the third floor of the dropship. Indigo was awkwardly sat in between Fox, and a girl named Glass.

"Octavia, you okay?!" a loud familiar shout rang through the dropship, making Indigo's heart drop— a fear of getting caught made her almost barf from the anxiety.

Indigo assured herself that it would be taken care of by
Clarke— until loud shouts were heard from outside. Indigo looked around for a moment, before rushing down the ladder.

Harper shouted at her to come back— since she knew how Clarke would get. Indigo didn't care in the moment— the shouting and fighting were so loud that the people on the first floor were all bundled in a corner.

Indigo took a peek outside— her ponytail blowing in the breeze, while everyone in camp screamed at one another. The chaos unraveled, and Indigo swallowed thickly when she saw how Clarke stood— her face full of stress.

Stepping back into the dropship, Indigo grabbed a gun, a sigh escaped her lips. She stepped out of the dropship and pointed the large piece of deadly metal to the sky.

The screaming was unbearable at this point, as Indigo pulled the trigger three times. The loud bullets that fired in the air scared the large crowd into looking in Clarke and Indigo's direction.

Clarke gave her a grateful look, as she slowly lowered the gun to her side. Exhaustion bore its way into Clarke's eyes, and Indigo looked out at the camp.

Every eye was staring at her— picking out her flaws. Dirt and sweat were stuck to her skin, and her puffer jacket missing from her arms.

Indigo swallowed thickly, "This is exactly what the grounders want." her tone was full of exhaustion, "can't you all get that through your thick skulls?" she let her breath quicken— at this point, she didn't mind that they could see how clammy she was in front of crowds.

"They don't have to kill us if we kill each other first." Indigo slowly stepped forward, the gun dragging at her side, while Clarke let out a shallow breath, her body leaning against the dropship for support— since she was so exhausted.

A delinquent boy quickly step out of the crowd with a gun, his expression angry, "They don't have to kill us if we all catch the virus." he spat at Indigo, who glared at him, "Get back in the damn dropship!" he barked the order at her as if she was going to listen.
