Chapter 17: The deed has been done!

Kinsey's POV:

It was a busy year. Me and Hero were always together. I would take him round the human world which he seemed to enjoy. Especially getting MC Donalds and things like that.

"Humans have better food than Wolves," he told me one day. "I know that Jackson sometimes gets human food to feed Olivia and Delilah. But I have never had any!"

"Well, it's a good thing I am showing you it now," I said with a smile.

"Exactly," said Hero with a smile.

I smiled as his white teeth glinted in the sunlight. I could tell he wanted to help me become a wolf so bad.

"So," he said, finishing his chicken. "When do you want to do that thing I talked about?"

I felt my neck and looked at his teeth again.

"I'm ready whenever," I admitted. "But will it hurt?"

"It may do, a little," said Hero. "But it will be over in a few minutes. And I will be with you to hold you. I have to be in my wolf, though."

"That's fine," I said. "I know you wouldn't want to hurt me."

Hero shook his head. "I wouldn't hurt you. You have been kind to me. You've been understanding, Kinsey. That's what I want in life."

I hugged him. "I will always support you, Hero. I promise you that."

My heart skipped a beat. Hero smiled.

"I wouldn't do it here, though," he said. "We have humans watching."

"Take me back to the den," I suggested.

Hero nodded and finished off his meal. I did the same but felt a bit nervous.

Soon, We were back in the Den where Hero had made for the two of us. He looked at me and beckoned me to our little bed thing. I went over and lay down.

"Give me two minutes," said Hero as he walked out.

I nodded and got comfortable. Well, as comfortable as I could, considering I was lying on the ground.  I loooked round and saw that Hero had come back. He was in his wolf, holding his clothes in his jaws gently. Then he dropped them and bounded over to my side.

"Am I comfortbale?" I read his mind. "Don't worry. I'm okay."

Hero put hhis muzzle near to my hand and nuzzled me.

"I'm sure," I said, gently petting his snout. "I'm ready, now!"

Hero nodded and moved to my neck. He whimpered. I could tell in the woolf's eyes that he was nervous.

"It's okay," I said to him. "Just do it!" It will be over and I can join you."

Hero lay down beside me, his mouth getting closer to me.  Then he  gently sank his teeth into my neck. I felt strange as he gently sucked on it. Pain slightly came, but it didn't really hurt. It felt strange, though.. I saw a pale wolf shadow come to me and entering my body.  Hm .... That's my wolf!.

Hero let go and lay beside me, exhausted. He nuzzled me.

"It didn't hurt," I told him. "It felt weird. But it didn't hurt!"

Hero licked where he gave me the bite and smiled. Then he lay down, his head in his paws. I hugged him and fell asleep.

Here is chapter 17 after two days. Sorry I didn't update it when I said I would. I got distracted yesterday. But here you go.

We go back to Larkin and Olivia's  story in chapter 18 and  19! You will see their children Memphis, Pax and Phoenix. Book 2 will be about them. So yeah.
