Mackenzie's POV:
It was great to see Olivia! She and I were separated because of my dad. What a bastard. I had an artificial arm for when I was human. When I was in my wolf, however, I had to hobble around on three legs.
I signed to Alex what I wanted to say to the three of them.
"Mackenzie said 'Do you want me to teach you how to sign, Olivia'?"
I saw Olivia nod. I smiled, then gently grabbed her hand with my right. Then I helped her to sign her name. Larkin and Kinsey smiled at us.
"Very nice," said Alex. "What else should we teach you?"
"How are you?" Olivia requested.
I nodded and helped to sign how are you? I also taught her I'm Okay.
***
Olivia's POV:
It was fascinating to learn just the phraises hello, how are you and I'm okay. It was amazing.
Mackenzie smiled. Then taught me other signs. I tried to copy her.
"Not quite," said Alex to me. "Nearly!"
I tried again. The sign was drink. Alex, Larkin and Kinsey clapped.
"well doone,"" said Kinsey.
Mackenzie relaxed. She tried to talk normally.
"You ... did ... well!" She struggled.
"Thank you, sis!" I hugged her gently.
Alex smiled. "She can speak a bit of english. But slowly!"
Mackenzie nodded.
"That's okay," I said. "You don't have to talk, Mackenzie!"
"But ... I ... want ... to!" Mackenzie admitted. "How ... else ... can ... I ... talk?"
"Sign language is your thing, Kenzie," said Larkin making sure she could read his lips.
***
Larkin's POV:
It was nice to get the sisters reunited. Both of them were very smiley. Especially Mackenzie.
"I'm ... determined, Larkin!" Admitted Mackenzie. "I ... want ... to ... get ... better ... at ... talking, too!"
"That's fair enough," said Kinsey hugging her gently.
"It will take some time, Mackenzie," said Olivia. "But I'm sure you'll be okay at it!"
"Thank ... you ... Livvy," said Mackenzie. "So ... how ... are ... things ... in ... Jackson's ... den?"
"How do you know?" Olivia exclaimed.
"I ... have ... my ... sources," admitted Mackenzie.
"Oh," said Olivia. "I'm guessing that you see our forest?"
Mackenzie nodded. "Sometimes!"

Mackenzie's POV:
I felt strange, using my voice. It felt very weird. I couldn't hear what I was saying. But I read their lips as they spoke to me.
"Do you go to school?" I read from Olivia.
"I'm ... going ... to ... City ... Poem ... Highschool ... next ... September!" I admitted.
We all looked at one another. I felt so happy to be with my sister, and my friends.
"Do you get therapy to help with the speech, Mackenzie?" I read from Kinsey.
I nodded. "It ... is ... getting ... there."
"That is good," I read from Olivia. "But how are you finding the lessons about speaking?"
"Hard," I admitted. "But ... I ... like ... it!"
"We are trying to get hearing aids for her!" Alex said to the three of them. "But it's hard."
I frowned and nodded.
"Poor thing," said Olivia to him. "Hope we can sort it out!"
"Me ... to!" I admitted.
I took a deep breath and exhaled it. The three older kids stared at me.
