Skater boy

" Just get on it first before you start judging it ." Niki said trying to convince me to get on his skateboard.

" I swear I'm gonna fall." Putting one foot on the skateboard and almost falling. But niki caught me.

" How about i hold your hands and help you." Niki started with a smile. " Give me your hands and look straight in my eyes don't pay attention to your feet ok." he said in his soft but deep voice. I put one foot on the skateboard and followed what niki said and looked into his eyes instead of my feet. I put my other foot on the board. I waited a few seconds to see if i would fall but i didn't.

" Yeah i finally did it !" I jumped off the board into Niki's arms. Causing him to giggle a little by my actions.

"Well do you think if you practice you would finally be able to ride a skateboard ?" Niki asked with a huge smile plastered on his face.

" No i just feel like skateboarding is kinda dangerous no wonder you must wear protective gear, but not even you wear protective gear." I said leaving the hug to cross my arms.

" Fine , fine you win your not skateboarding" Niki responded putting up his arms in defense.Niki insisted that I at least experience it. So I got on the back of his skateboard and held him tight with my arms around his waist.

" Don't suffocate me now. " Niki said pretending he was running out of breath. I closed my eyes as we started moving. The wind against my shoulder gave me chills in a good way. I slowly opened my eyes. The night shy looked so beautiful at night . 

" We're here ." Niki nudged me softly. We were in front of my house. As much as I wanted to I didn't want to leave . We had school the next day. I gave Niki a kiss goodbye and, since he lived two houses down from me he rode his skateboard down the street blowing me a kiss away.
